Ah, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. 這家旅館有點老舊，從浴室和其他設施的清潔程度就能看出來。我不喜歡他們收取35美元的「提前入住費」。這讓整個入住體驗蒙上了一層陰影，也讓飯店顯得不夠熱情好客。至少其他酒店都有會員計劃或獎勵計劃，提供一些優惠，而這家酒店基本上對回頭客沒有任何優惠，感覺就像是在故意斂財。下午4點已經算是傍晚了，我入住期間外面冷得要命。體感溫度零下，道路和人行道上積雪很厚，很危險，但我要付費才能提前入住？我被安排在一個小房間裡，床緊鄰著窗戶，不管房間裡的溫度有多高，我都冷得起雞皮疙瘩。房間完全沒有隔熱層。我預訂這次度假就是為了放鬆一下，看看有線電視。我入住的第一間房連有線電視都沒有，我打電話告訴了前台，對方說會派「工程師」來修，結果一個小時過去了，人也沒來。那天晚上，因為我抱怨房間太冷，最後換到了另一間房，新房間有電視，但之前跟前台溝通實在太費勁了，體驗很差。不過，他們人還不錯，我把一些東西落在了之前的房間，他們確保我安全地取回了。如果你在巴爾的摩遊玩，這家旅館位置很好，但同價位可能還有更好的選擇，服務也更熱情。浴缸排水很慢，水溫也不夠熱。這讓我更想回家了，因為我家淋浴的水壓和體驗都比這裡好得多。所以從這個意義上來說，這家飯店也談不上豪華。而且，淋浴間裡還有頭髮。儘管支付了“提前入住費”，而且為了確保房間“乾淨”，我特意等到下午4點以後才入住，但我的房間似乎勉強達到酒店標準。被子也很髒，所以我的入住體驗非常糟糕。

定他們家酒店時候要特別注意，辦理入住的時候，前台會刷走你50美元的消費，說是預付的押金會在5到7天後退還，向他們索取這50美元的收費證明的時候他們會告訴你還沒有消費所以也不會給你什麼收據一類的東西，並且告訴你如果錢退不回你的賬戶你可以找你的銀行溝通，我想你要是使用的美國銀行的用戶還可能把這筆錢追回來，如果你不幸是個中國銀行的用戶，那麼這筆錢你就任賠算了。出門在外有時候被黑雖然不開心也不必太在意。

我先說好的,房間很乾淨,牀很舒服,現在不太好,我們特意選擇了這家酒店,因爲他們在網站上宣傳,大堂有游泳池,熱水浴缸,免費早餐,咖啡。我們拜訪了我們的孫子,想要游泳池,這樣我們就可以帶他們游泳。嗯,當我們被告知游泳池和熱水浴缸都永久關閉時,我們是否感到驚訝,店員甚至提到他們知道它仍然被廣告宣傳爲在網站上有它們。當我們問起免費早餐時,我們被告知是否想要早餐,那是額外的費用,再次,一些虛假廣告正在進行。第二天早上我丈夫去大堂喝咖啡,好不奇怪,沒有,只有一個塑料壺的水。房間裏有一個咖啡機,有1個豆,所以我們確實使用了。當我們詢問虛假廣告的一些補償時,我們被告知沒有。如果不是因爲他們宣傳游泳池,熱水浴缸和免費早餐,我們不會選擇這家酒店。哦,只是給它按個按鈕,我們去酒吧喝了12盎司的啤酒。$7.251啤酒,12.00一杯葡萄酒,我們認爲有點陡,特別是酒吧在大堂沒有氣氛。所以,如果你只是在找一個睡覺的地方,你會沒事的。

超出預期，holiday inn不負所望，乾淨，舒服，超出預期，附近吃飯，購物很多，到著名景點，白宮，國家廣場，附近有地鐵可以過去。這次訂這個酒店，沒有訂在華盛頓市區，是個明智的選擇。

房間相當於國內如家精選，早餐是美式的，停車場免費停車，邊上有山姆超市可以買一些吃的，距離首都市中心還有一段距離。

兩張大床，適合四口之家。衛生還不錯👌酒店的工作人員很nice，服務很周到。推薦👍

房間很大，服務態度也很好，美中不足是停車不免費，早餐也要額外收費~不過對面就有7-11，還有各種吃的，問題好解決~ Ps：華盛頓的博物館又多又免費，後悔沒多住幾天好好逛逛~

性價比高。每日房費大概US$92。步行到雙溪地鐵站。附近有超市和很多餐館,比如日本餐廳,2家火鍋店,星巴克等

我可以提前入住，只需支付 25 美元押金即可獲得新鮮的餅乾！沒有游泳池，飯店很舊，需要大量維修 空調效果很好！旁邊的 La Curva 餐廳非常棒，食物新鮮美味，還可以用身分證記在房費裡
