AAlanPBooked in for 1 night to have a rest in some luxurious surroundings after a lot of travelling around the country visiting friends. Hunday Manor is a beautiful old house in a fantastic spot on the side of a hill with a great view. The hotel is very well appointed and the rooms are well looked after. The quality of the food for both an evening meal and the cooked-to-order breakfast was excellent. Perhaps the only facility I would add is a few overnight EV charge points in the car park.
The service however was rather comical, starting with check-in. After confirming my name, 1 night stay, and printing out the reservation sheet, somehow the chap on reception muddled up my solo reservation with a couple arriving on the same day who were staying for a couple of weeks and gave me their room. After settling in for a much needed afternoon nap in the very comfortable bed and 'locking' the door on the inside, the rather startled couple walked in having been given a card for the same room. From that point on I never really managed to relax. I offered to move room when I went down for dinner later on, but the chap declined and mumbled something odd about the length of stay and seemed to point at the paperwork suggesting I had signed it making it my mistake! Sigh.
Things didn't get a lot better in the restaurant. Myself and another solo traveller were given tables at the back (by the same chap), seemingly to keep us out the way of the couples who arrived later and were seated at the windows. When either of us asked questions about the menu there was lack of understanding about the dishes.. I was then asked around half a dozen times by multiple staff if everything was ok. Meanwhile I could hear one of the couples quitely chatting about their room, no doubt the room I was in. Upon trying to put the bill on my room, the same chap from earlier left me at the bar with a card machine asking whether I wanted to add a tip.
At breakfast the next morning it continued. When I arrived the first breakfast room was full of tables needing clearing so I was given a table in the same area where I had dinner. This time given a table at the window but right in front of the only other guest, a lady already eating her breakfast. My table wasn't set so inexplicably the waiter clumsily took a second place-setting from her table while she was midway through eating! After dusting a few crumbs from one of the plates I enjoyed my breakfast. Towards the end of eating the staff were discussing how to rearrange the room for an event later in the day and started moving things around. After hearing the same couple from dinner asking to be told when their room was made available, cleaners were hanging around at the bottom of the stairs when I returned to the room. Nothing like a bit of a hurry up to finish breakfast and get out of your room to make you feel like a valued guest.
Upon check-out an apology and a chat but by then the damage was done. No offer to comp a drink (or dinne)r after making a mess of things either. It's a lovely hotel that could offer a real 5-star experience, but the service ended up more like an episode of Fawlty Towers and needs a bit of a rethink.

訪訪客用戶位置絕佳，緊鄰火車站，入口很容易找到。清潔度確實有待提高。主要區域非常乾淨，例如床、衣櫃等。然而，毛巾架、櫥櫃後面等小地方卻積滿了灰塵。 （我檢查的唯一原因是我的過敏發作了，但只在房間裡）。房間裡有一些蜘蛛網，只有在放鬆時才會注意到。浴室很乾淨，但是灌漿處有黴菌，因此需要整理。床不舒服，壓得背部很硬，我和我的伴侶住後都會背痛。我預訂了一張雙人床，但實際上是兩張單人床拼在一起的，如果床墊不那麼硬就沒問題。週末和工作日的接待人員都非常可愛、友好和熱情，我挑不出任何毛病。負責房間清潔的團隊也非常熱情友好，他們主動詢問就快速地把房間裡的所有東西都加滿了，服務也很棒。可惜的是，夜間門房需要調整一下態度，他的語氣和說話方式實在不太好。度過了愉快的一天，回來卻發現夜間門房態度粗魯，讓人很不愉快。總而言之，這次入住體驗非常愉快，只有一些小問題需要抱怨。

訪訪客用戶我對湖區最繁忙地區的酒店,特別是在假期時,有嚴重的疑慮。顯然,他們會無情地過度擁擠,受到騷擾和不友好的工作人員。我想回到普羅珀湖區一段時間,所以在國王的頭上冒險。從格拉斯米爾上方的耳朵彈出的主要道路上很容易找到,就在靠近 Thirlemere 的令人印象深刻的鋼鐵瀑布之外。在湖區任何地方停車都可怕而昂貴。不在這裏。放鬆,房間充足。這是一座長建築,有一個令人愉快的酒吧餐廳區和啤酒花園。我發現了一個相當愉快的居民休息室,一位叫喬的女士給我辦理了入住手續,讓我感到賓至如歸。它確實忙於通過貿易,但工作人員照顧他們的居民。他們鞭打我體面的真啤酒和Jura威士忌(合適的東西)。早餐是菜單上供應的桌子,呈現得很好。我沒有在那裏吃,但食物很受歡迎,價格也很優惠。外面的道路很繁忙,有點賽道,偶爾的戰鬥機在低海拔的練習中在山之間哮,但對面的羊的無情的叫很快就恢復正常了。離開有點遺憾,但經理說他希望我再來,我相信我會的,甚至會帶我的妻子來。

匿匿名用戶We booked the Superior Double Room and I felt it was well worth the extra for the gorgeous view we had from 2 large windows - whether the skies were sunny or cloudy.
The location was excellent - within 5 to 10mins walk to the town and to Derwent Water and parking was well explained and ample. On entering Fellpack House, it was pleasant, well cared for and inviting. Our room on the top floor (stairs all the way up) was straight out of a home & decor magazine. The amenities, furnishing, towels and beverages were quality stuff and we saw that they also used locally sourced soaps and beverages. Housekeeping was daily and I loved that the gave us delicious chewy chocolate chip cookies each day!
The breakfast was fresh & flavourful. That they started off as a restaurant (that operates across the road and is highly rated) carries through in their breakfast - I ate so much and it was worth every calorie!
Best of all were the staff. We met many over the course of our stay and every one of them were warm, chatty, highly customer-oriented and witty!

薛薛酒店比較偏遠，但是環境令人驚喜，房間很乾凈，後院大草坪非常舒服，孩子們玩的很開心。附近也沒有就餐的地方，衹能在酒店吃晚餐。估計平時一般衹有本地人會去，服務能力有限，晚餐衹能指定時間入座，不過菜都比較精緻。

訪訪客用戶在湖區温德米爾湖的 bowness 小鎮，從酒店出來轉個彎下坡就到湖邊碼頭了，景色優美，可以坐船。趕上元旦假期，住宿還是有些緊張的，這裏的早餐很棒，顯示得過獎。停車很方便而且免費，車位就在房子外面。套房外面帶個花園，夏天坐在院子裏應該很舒服

Ppetter62英式風格別墅型酒店，地理位置和環境超好，從酒店前面的大草坪下去就是遊船碼頭和汽車總站到那裡都方便。這個大草坪和前面的小花園都專屬酒店的，坐在大草坪的椅子上喝喝咖啡感覺真好，下面就是温德米爾湖，酒店大堂有幾個休息室也是超有英式感覺，酒店前台服務員態度非常好，我們退房時幫忙叫出租車，到火車站是8英鎊。特別是餐廳的服務員服務非常到位，無論你點餐多少都熱情服務。這個酒店非常非常值得住，性價比高。下圖中有個很歷史感的電梯。

酒店餐廳即將關閉,房間被整理好,廚房一直開着晚餐在6個小時後,美味的牛排融化是一種樂趣
從英格蘭南部開車,用歡迎的Shiraz玻璃洗下來。
牀很舒服,房間有大浴缸和獨立的淋浴間,熱水充足。
裝飾和配件與酒店的年齡和歷史是同情的,這是一個令人愉快的變化,從更現代的大衆市場酒店。
工作人員非常友好,很高興在不需要使用自動非個人系統的情況下得到幫助。
我會毫不猶豫地再次入住酒店,當我在該地區。

訪訪客用戶酒店坐落於湖區的山坡上，莊園式的，外觀很漂亮，有一個花園和大草坪，環境很美。原訂經典雙床房，後考慮到這麼好的環境還是享受一下，所以看着圖片又加錢預訂了俱樂部雙床房，原本是非常期待的，結果一上樓卻大失所望，首先電梯直到一樓（國內的兩樓），而我們的房間卻在二樓，於是衹能辛苦攜程的包車司機幫我們拿箱子，然後進門後發現和圖片完全不同，比我們原來訂的經典雙床房還差，有沙發沒茶几，沒書桌和椅子，和服務枱交涉，前台人員身兼數職正忙於餐廳服務，所以每次找他都要按鈴後等着，而且失口否認出錯，一口咬定是攜程上的圖片錯誤，給我們的就是俱樂部雙床房，目前也沒有其他房間了，於是衹能無奈入住，度過了行程十六晚中體驗最差的一晚，好在後來攜程出面協調退了差價也作了相應補償，對攜程的善後工作我們還是滿意的。
