Yes they are only ruins, and no you can't go inside, but you can still get up close and walk around the entire castle if you so desire. As others have suggested you can easily combine this with a trip...

Picturesque ruins
Easy to combine with a trip to Bobolice, 1.5km by car or 20 minutes by foot by several trails through the forest. Beautiful views from the top of the hill but unfortunately the castle itself is close...
