A fun thing to do!
It costs 2 euro for a single trip, up to the Basilica in Lyon. Trains run regularly & fantastic view from the top & an easy walk back down again.

Good way to take a steep ride
We used the funicular to visit the Theatres Romains. The trip up the hill was good and very quick. The fare was rather cheap and we had a great day.

Easy way up
An easy way to get up to the cathedral and roman ruins - however when I was there one side was not working - a 5 minutes walk gets you to the other funiculaire is available.
