From the moment I stepped into The Happy Traveler Hotel, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making me feel at home right away. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with both comfort and practicality in mind. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the linens fresh, and the bathroom sparkling clean. I especially loved the little touches—like complimentary snacks, quality toiletries, and a cozy reading nook—that made the space feel personal and inviting. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable. Situated close to key attractions, public transport, and charming cafes, it made exploring the city effortless. Despite being centrally located, my room was wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep after a day of adventure.

The hotel is right in the centre of Veendam, and whilst it's not luxurious, it's clean and comfortable. The bar is excellent, their own beers are also very good, and there's a wide range of others available should you prefer. The food in the restaurant was also pretty good, being tasty and generous. We'll certainly be back!

我們度過了一個美好的週末。地理位置優越，臨水而建，戶外露臺宜人，提供自行車和船隻租賃服務，而且離格羅寧根市中心很近。工作人員也非常友好。

之前看寫15平方米，還挺擔心太小房間，不過實際還挺大。每人還送一杯酒和小食。酒店餐廳還不錯，價錢不覺得貴，好像外面同類餐廳差不多，味道不錯。只是有點舊，停車場的門口很窄。
