Decided to staycation at Joylive, since the property offers a 24-hour stay which is nice. Arrived around 10 pm, with very limited parking space and with security present but no help at all finding me an available spot. Then after finding an available one, the security offers one inside the property, but after I moved inside one of the staff told me not to park there because I will block another vehicle inside which is make sense, and not sure why the security offers me to park inside. I have to move again, and much farther than the original parking spot. The room itself was okay, and I had no major problem even though the cleanliness in the bathroom can be better. The smell of the room is also a bit off, but since it’s a budget-friendly hotel/co-living I can ignore these facts. After going outside at noon, came back to find out my key don't work and can't go inside my room. Asked the housekeeping staff nearby regarding the key problem, explain to me I need to come down to reception and reprogram the key because it will automatically reset at noon. After came down from reception, the key still not working, and then asked the housekeeping staff to give me access to my room. Then called reception, but the key still not working and ask them to send me the new one. After a wait for more than half-hour called back again asking if the new key had not been delivered yet, the reception told me to wait even more due to a lot of the staff are still on their break. However, until check-out, no one came and made a complaint to the same reception staff that reprogram my key earlier, and to the fact, no one explain that I need to reprogram my key around noon. The receptionist gave no attention to the complaint, and change the subject directly of my complaint to returning my deposit from when I check-in and straight to picking up the phone avoiding eye contact. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. I truly had a terrible experience at Joylive because of their unfriendly staff, I hope when the management sees this review they are able to give much more proper training to them and not happen to other upcoming guests.
