LLaczkoCompared to a 4-star hotel, the corridors and rooms were quite old, a little renovation would be a good idea, there was no air conditioning, only an old fan, it was a bit of an illusion destroyer. The SPA department closed at 7 pm and we wanted to swim at 8 pm, such a big full-house hotel that is not cheap, can't operate a non-stop SPA? At dinner, we had to wait more than 40 minutes for the food to be brought out. It was okay, but it won't be among my favorites.
GGillianStayed one night for a local wedding. Excellent communications before arrival as I was at the wedding at check in time. Everything done over the phone and on arrival at night after the wedding the staff helped carry my luggage which I had left in my car in the grounds. The bed was very comfortable. Shower excellent as was breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. No complaints at all.
Mmum and daughterDisappointed with the pool , dirty, no cups available for water, locks broken on doors . Floor slimmy.
Room ok but dusty at the bottom of the tea station, fan not working in bathroom,
Breakfast was terrible, orange juice was really watery and tasteless , plates too hot and no serviettes provided to hold , cereals were ok , no pastries very poor selection for the price , bread was cheap and soggy and when toasted burnt...yuk ! Too much pepper on the tomatoes , baked beans cheap and nasty , sausages were nice, bacon horrible and cooked in clumps so some were under cooked and some extremely crispy and salty.
For the price of £17 a head , I think the breakfast was 1/5. lady staff member was very nice, polite and helpful 5/5.
Sorry to say but we won't be back 😞
CCKDA1Nice looking hotel with loads of parking. The double room we stayed in was dated and old. Mold on windows and bathroom. No safe in room and no plug sockets near the bed.
