If you are keen to learn and appreciate artwork, would definitely recommend; if you are not, it might be a bit boring. Before going to the Uffizi Gallery, I would recommend you to study some basic historical and cultural background of Italy and Florence so that you can have a better understanding and visual experience in the gallery.
