多倫斯河是阿德萊德的母親河，河道時而寬闊時而狹窄，沿途的風光非常的秀麗。有許多的划船愛好者會在這條河上划皮划艇，每年這裏都會舉行皮划艇的比賽，真的是十分的熱鬧。

託倫斯河是阿德萊德平原最重要的河流。這是南澳大利亞州首府阿德萊德市坐落的主要原因之一。
