The Black Temple and the White Temple are both in the Qinglai Palace. Although there is no white temple famous, nor the kind of shock that the white temple brings to people, there are many things worth seeing in the Kun temple, which is a place that needs to spend more time. The Black Temple, also known as the Black House, is not actually a temple, but the home of Thawan, a Thai artist. Thawan designed the black house as hell and death. Therefore, there are many exhibits related to this theme in the Black Temple, such as Buffalo skulls lined up on the ground, animal fur and large shells on the table, giant seats made of buffalo horns in the hall and hunting tools of primitive tribes. In addition, there are many modern installation art expressing the theme of death in the black temple, such as using stones to display sacrificial totems of primitive tribes on the grass in front of the temple, and using large white animal fur to create a world of "death" in smaller temples. Walking into the exhibition hall of the Black Temple is like walking into a temple of ancient times. The depth of the hall is more than ten meters high, and the high roof gives people the illusion of reaching the sky directly. Sunlight shines through the windows on both sides, but only illuminates one corner of the hall. The rest is hidden in the nihility of darkness. The two worlds of light and darkness are distinct, and entering them is like shuttling between the world and the gloom. It is said that many of the exhibits have a history of thousands of years and Thawan collected them from all over the world with all his efforts. The external environment of the Black Temple is very good. It is a fresh idyllic scenery. There is no legendary gloomy terror at all. But maybe it's another scene when night falls.
