There’s always a line. But it moves fast. We split a half dozen. All were good some were great. Truth of the matter is the most simple ones are the best ones

I was up in the area visiting from Florida for the holidays. I have been going here since my grandfather took me 40 years ago. We used to go here before the Sixers and Eagles games.

This is a pub that is close to Walnut theatre. I thought it funny that they did not have a cheese steak on the menu. they offered smashed burgers, whatever they are. It was a pretty good pub type menu.

Went here with some friends. It was ok. I got the beet Reuben which was good. The salad it came with was not. We shared a side of scrapple which was cooked perfectly but the taste was the worse I have ever had.

Bassets ice cream is a Philadelphia tradition. Generations of families continue to go here. Don’t miss the opportunity to have a delicious treat while at the reading terminal market or around Philadelphia.
