Location is perfect, steps from the train station, where most of the local buses also leave from. Old City is easily reachable by foot. Warm welcome at the reception, my single room was very small but did perfectly the trick for a short stay. Bed was comfortable, temperature was ideal. Bathroom just as small but with a decent size shower box, which I think it's where the space should be if the bathroom is not huge. Room was clean, some paint was peeling off the ceiling and it is in need of a hand of paint. Did not try the breakfast. Overall a perfect stay and would definitely stay there again.

Buono accogliente e a soli 500m dal centro di Rennes. Camere piccole ma molto accoglienti, personale cordiale e molto disponibile. Colazione abbondante con roba fresca e? Molto buona da gustare prima di una giornata in città. Molto vicino alla stazione. Unica pecca non ha propio parcheggio, e nel periodo in cui abbiamo alloggiato noi causa gara podistica abbiamo parcheggio al sotterraneo della stazione per un totale di 38€!!!. Apparte questo inconveniente da provare ottimo.

酒店就在火車站斜對麪，步行3-5分鐘，非常方便。酒店出門左轉，一直向前步行15-20分鐘，即到聖馬洛老城，路上邊走邊看，也並不覺得遠。房間內舒適整潔，空間比較寬敞，住着很舒服。注意需要自備拖鞋。

5 out of 5 The room and bathroom were spacious, there is ample storage space, two wardrobes and a safe (which is free to use) is in one wardrobe, there is even a hidden mini kitchen area. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was it has parking and for €10 it’s well worth it for peace of mind if you’ve got a car full of fishing gear, make sure you request parking when you book though. It’s in a great location, a nice bar called La Piste is at the end of the road but as you walk into the centre, which takes about 10 minutes, you pass many other cafes and bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night but you could definitely stay for longer.

They do not ask you for the famous ”pass sanitaire” (the European document that certifies that you have your complete doses of vaccination against covid or that you have a test that says that you have not tested positive for the disease in the last hours), sooo you can calmly be enjoying your breakfast next to a person positive for covid 19. (In France the ”safety distance” is only one meter away, so do the math!!) AND many guests stroll through the common areas with the mask with the nose uncovered and the hotel staff allows it. Of course, they disinfect the table once you use it (#) Avoid this place!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of April-early May 2024. I highly recommend this hotel. It has a great location -- about .4 miles from the train station and about an equal distance in the other direction to Old Town, Parc du Thabor, and other places you'll want to see. My wife enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The staff was very helpful. Our room was clean. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rennes is a beautiful university town with a great Saturday market; it was a highlight of our 17-day trip to Brittany and Normandy.

For a Budget Hotel, the staff are very helpful and pleasant, my (accessible) bedroom on the ground floor was perfect for me, with a large shower room - rooms were very clean and smelt really good. The restaurant serves a very good selection in its buffet breakfast and due to Covid, evening meals are served in the restaurant in glass jars from a traitor and are very tasty. I would recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

For a Budget Hotel, the staff are very helpful and pleasant, my (accessible) bedroom on the ground floor was perfect for me, with a large shower room - rooms were very clean and smelt really good. I expected so much more out of this big chain hospitality company. But, sadly, like many of these big companies, they try to cut as many corners as possible. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: The location is excellent. The hotel is sort of tucked away from the main street so it is very quiet. Also, it is not too far from public transit. Both bus and metro stops are very close and easily reachable by foot. The main lobby itself was relatively clean. Cons: The front desk staff was just okay - they were not rude by any means, but not overly friendly either. They were just...there. The only coffee they had in the room was horrible instant coffee. Then, they charge you 2.50 Euros for an espresso that uses a pod. I have stayed in many, many hotels in Europe (smaller boutique hotels with smaller budgets) that provided a machine with pods in my room. Those that have not provided a machine have never charged me for one espresso. I am sure had I made a habit of it, they would have charged. But seriously, 2.50 for one pod of espresso? Mercure can pony up. We are also convinced the cleaning staff did not properly clean our room. There was something on the ground that sat there for days in the bathroom. We saw it after the first day thinking it was strange it was still there. As a test, we left it there (it was a door sign) to see if it would ever be picked up, but it sat there for days. My BIGGEST issue with this hotel was the SMOKING AREA. They have tables and chairs right outside the front doors of the hotel where people can smoke. Every morning and evening their would be many people sitting out there puffing away. So, each time we would either leave the hotel in the morning and return in the evenings, we would have to walk through a cloud of smoke. The smoke would also enter the lobby and dining area where you could easily smell it. Nothing is more unappealing when you are trying to sit there, eat breakfast and you have to breathe in disgusting, foul cigarette smoke. Overall, I just expected more from a big company such as Mercure. Like I said earlier, I have stayed at smaller boutique hotels where they have smaller budgets. Despite this, they put a real emphasis on customer service and pay close attention to details.

Ayant été incapable de changer mon billet de train par internet, les employés m'ont aidé avec une très grande amabilité. Je suis une personne âgée et j'ai beaucoup apprécié leur attention. De façon générale, les 2 cousins à l'accueil ont été très agréables. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel.

The public areas of the hotel are very pleasant and the staff are friendly and try to help. The bar is nice and the restaurant is also good- breakfast is a self service buffet with a good range of food. The family room was pretty tight - downstairs is mainly bed with a rather tired bathroom while upstairs is 2 single beds. There are wardrobes and televisions but we were only staying one night so didn’t use them. However we would have had to sit on the double bed to watch tv and it would have been a squeeze. Beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning adequate. It all just felt a little in need of a refresh: the door frames are bashed about, the bathroom door didn’t shut properly, the velux window frame needed a lick of paint- that sort of thing.

Habitués des hôtels de cette chaine nous avons été déçus de celui çi. Climatisation bruyante dans la chambre, petit déjeuner très moyen surtout pour le tarif. presse à jus d'orange, mais pas d'orange, viennoiseries de qualité moyenne, les produits étaient souvent manquants pas remplacés de suite (plats vides), idem pour les boissons. Choix moyen. Chambre pas prête à 16H.. Les + personnel agréable et chambre et locaux très propres. Facilité de stationnement. Restaurant de l'hôtel moyen, peu de choix la viande et les frites sont arrivés tièdes et pas grand chose aux alentours pour diner. Il ne manquerait pas grand chose pourtant pour que cet hôtel soit top..

This hotel is convenient if you are travelling by car as it has plenty of free parking however it is a bit of a walk to the town centre and you will need to be taking a taxi to get back to the hotel in the evening as it is not a very pleasant walk - a choice between walking through a housing estate or along a busy main road. The hotel itself is nothing special, the rooms are clean and comfortable but quite basic. It felt very much like a business hotel rather than a tourist hotel, the bar is not very welcoming in the evening as all the lights were switched off and there was nobody there. On the plus side - The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic.

Extrêmement surpris par la taille des appartements (salon, chambre, cuisine , lit 2m très confortable, belle salle de bain avec grande douche (90x120), scène séparé) Très propre, limite neuf ! SPA très agréable Le tout pour un coût très raisonnable au regard de la qualité et du service ! Bravo ! Continuez !!!!
