「⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good stay in a great location We really enjoyed our stay at Amoa Resort overall. Our room was huge with two double beds and plenty of space. We were travelling with family in another room and would have preferred the option to bunk in together rather than needing separate rooms, but unfortunately this wasn’t allowed. The outdoor-style bathroom/shower wasn’t really for me, mainly because of the bugs, and we did have quite a few insects in the room so had to use bug spray regularly. The rest of the resort facilities were good. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the food. The lagoon area across the road was probably our favourite part — beautiful calm water for swimming, kayaks, jumping off the wharf and plenty of shade with a lovely breeze. Such a nice place to relax. The pool itself was warm and nice to swim in, although it could have been maintained a little better as there were quite a lot of leaves in the water. The resort was very quiet while we were there. I think adding some entertainment, cultural activities or themed dinner nights would really bring some atmosphere to the place and encourage guests to stay around the resort in the evenings. Overall, a good stay in a great location on Savai’i with lovely staff. With a few small improvements, Amoa could be even better.」
