This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! 完美的位置和餐廳的食物也不錯,如果打算在10-11PM後入住,建議去之前吃晚飯。

房間比預期的要大,有一個露台可以坐在外面,牀很舒服,一切都離梅斯房間只有一小段步行路程。我確實注意到浴室有點髒,今天早上淋浴的熱水完全沒了。維修工不得不出來修理鍋爐來糾正這個問題。 位置絕對令人驚歎,花園保存得很好。它真的是英國美麗的部分,主莊園建築很可愛。 子花餐廳每週幾天關閉晚餐,早餐我認爲不理想。所以我們不得不出去吃晚餐,因爲水療餐廳不是我想要的,晚餐是一頓豐盛的晚餐。早餐我們不得不去sage spa餐廳,那裏的食物選擇非常有限。有大約6個菜餚可供選擇,他們說廚師不煮炒雞蛋,這是早餐必不可少的,所以我基本上不得不吃一盤吐司。由於菜單上沒有什麼我想要的,我被告知奶昔機壞了,所以我甚至不能選擇它。這是在熱水消失後發生的,所以有點抑制劑。幾年前,我來到酒店,當時您不必支付水療中心的費用,但現在您這樣做有點煩人。特別是您只能在早餐或晚餐時間訪問,即使收取20英鎊的附加費。所以,你必須在晚上吃得很晚,或者吃一頓很晚的午餐,否則20英鎊不會花得很好,你必須在一個小時後離開水療中心

I had a really enjoyable stay at the Carlton Hotel in Folkestone. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the town and the seafront, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel has a traditional feel, which gives it plenty of character, and overall I found it to be good value for money. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the whole stay was hassle-free. I’d happily stay at the Carlton again if I’m back in Folkestone and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location.

What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.

誤打誤撞定了離Dover碼頭半小時車程的Folkstone小鎮的酒店。 位於懸崖上面，有步道可以走到下面的海灘。 海景特別特別美麗。 建築是歷史建築，所以電梯什麼的特別小。但是服務和設施都對得起Voco這個等級 早餐超預期。在歐洲目前吃到的最好的早餐了！還支持半點單，班尼迪克蛋好好吃。早餐的紅茶配牛奶也很濃郁！ 性價比顯得很高
