朵爾飯店(The Dower House Hotel)

Beautiful house set in even more beautiful surroundings, the gardens were very peaceful and it was lovely listening the birds We had one of the junior suites in the main house with a large bay window overlooking the beautiful gardens, very comfortable bed, very spacious room. Only small downside was the decor and curtains were a little tired. We had a radiator in the room but the heating was not on and it was a tad chilly. Large modern bathroom. Very clean We had food in the restaurant and a bar meal both were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

A very pleasant two-night stay in the Dower House. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant on both evenings. Food quality and presentation was of a very high standard. Our room (#2) was large, comfortable, quiet and had a huge bay window overlooking the garden. The bathroom was equally large and nicely appointed. Only downsides - the room decor and curtains were a tad dated and jaded and we weren't able to get the radiator to work. It was a disappointingly cool May trip to Lincolnshire! But that said, we'd have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. Great location if you're planning a visit to the Lincoln Heritage Aviation Centre.

Lovely hotel tucked away in the greenery of Woodhall Spa. Room and bathroom were both lovely and very clean. We stayed in the Lodge which is not attached to the main house where the restaurant, bars and breakfast were served, so pleased it wasn’t raining as didn’t notice any umbrellas available for guests use. Food was great, well cooked and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful Will definitely go again

Great hotel. Smart, clean and well designed. Really friendly staff. Super value for money. Rooms are really good and the bathroom was immaculate. Food and service also excellent. If you are staying in the area would definitely choose Dower House, also walkable into the village and golf club

Lovely staff and excellent setting Great bed very comfortable bedroom On arrival inspection of bathroom revealed part of my lower shower head was loose and not useable This was reported to reception and was efficiently replaced the next day. Excellent breakfast. We only ate in one night and we were disappointed Our main course beef was dry and my pudding was disappointing Plus points however outweighed the negatives A very warm and cosy hotel in a fantastic setting within walking distance of shops and eating places.

An outstanding stay. What a lovely hotel....really pretty and extremely smart and clean and tidy. The staff were excellent throughout.........very friendly and very polite and helpful. We stayed in a suite, room 6, the Bracken Suite...a fabulous room ....very large and excellent facilities. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant in the evening and the food and service were also terrific. Overall a great stay and we will stay again !!!

Fantastic hotel in a lovely location. Room was clean, homely, warm and a good size. Staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. We stayed in the lodge which was surrounded by greenery and wildlife sounds. Loads of free parking and great WiFi signal.

We enjoyed our stay at Dower House Hotel. The location is very nice and in a quiet area. The hotel is clean and well appointed with pleasant large rooms, comfortable beds and excellent shower. The village is also very pleasant with a range of small shops. Pubs and restaurants.

Had dinner at the Dower House on Monday 22nd, eight of us in the private dining room. We had been before so knew that the food would be good, however this visit was made exceptional by their outstanding staff and in particular Caprice. She is the hotels sommelier and not only suggested which wines would best accompany our food choices (excellent recommendations by the way), she joined in with the conversation and banter. Nothing was too much trouble and she certainly enhanced the evening with her presence. Excellent - highly recommended. Thanks Caprice and Amy.
