Pros: quick check in, comfy bed, spacious room, friendly reception staff. Cons: room was a little tired and in need of a deep clean and a lick of paint. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming in terms of options. Room had a little patio however not a very inviting view!

A very foggy cold night after a busy day it was nice to be welcomed by a friendly and informative receptionist. One nights stay room with small balcony overlooking the golf course and an incredible heater. Water pressure in shower is low but water hot The rooms feel they would benefit from being updated a few ******* . *TV remote didn't turn TV off had to get up and pop hand behind set and turn off at socket. **The hair on the bath definitely not mine! **No obvious hairdryer. ***Room Service called twice extn not answered went via reception transferred to the bar salmon cream cheese on brown ordered arrived quickly unfortunately on white bread. Pink G&T delicious. Breakfast. Warm welcome and explanation offered from team. Great variety and the hot food was hot. **** The team brief at the bar perhaps could have been carried out elsewhere. Checkout painless.

It was a good hotel, great breakfast, good value and friendly staff. The fast that it has electric charging is a big plus!

Terrible!!! Rude staff , particularly in the restaurant - told us there were no spaces in the restaurant despite the fact there were many empty tables, we then booked at the restaurant and were told it would take longer because we booked through the reception. Shower didn’t work - cold with no water pressure. Breakfast also bad. A waste or £126

Overall my trip was okay, however me and my husband booked dinner for 07:30pm. On arrival at the dinning room our name was not recorded as booked for dinner we waited for 35minutes for our order to be taken. After waiting for such a long time l noticed people who came after us being served then l had to ask why we were not being served. The dinner we ordered was burnt and l could not eat mine. The assistant manager offered to take the food back however due to the length if time spent waiting l just felt that l had lost my appetite.

This hotel is very run down and outdated. It's stated as 4 stars but I would struggle to even give it 3 stars. It was a dissapointing weekend as we had looked forward to it to celebrate my fiancés birthday. Everything is so outdated and run down, the food was average at best and the rooms were too. The sad thing is Ufford park has the potential to be a high 4/5 star country club style resort with a golf club and spa however this would need a complete overhaul of its facilities. On a positive note the staff were very kind and helpful and would do whatever they could to make our stay better

The room was ok,but extremely hot making it uncomfortable to sleep, even after turning all the heaters off.....December 31st and we had to open the balcony door for air!! Restaurant was ok but service was poor and food wasnt that great, my gammon steak was tough and not edible. My partners dessert came out cold and after telling someone about it, it returned a few minutes later afyer being heated up in the microwave for a few seconds..still not as warm as you would like. Breakfast was a buffet, would have been better if the hot plates worked and kept the food warm, it was lnt a pleasnat experience eating a cold english breakfast. Again, swrvice wasnt great and we had to ask someone about hot drinks for breakfast. Overall, not a place i would go back to and very disappointed about having to pay so much for a not so great stay.....especially when youve heard good things about this place. Not worth the money its charging for a one night stay....

We have been many times over the past year or so and despite the new ownership the maintenance of the rooms is still poor e.g. broken tiles, loose mirrors etc. The staff in the bar are too few at times and rather slow.

Nice location, looks the part. Nice golfing ans pool/spa. Bathrooms, plumbing terribly out of date. No pressurised shower, removable shower hose bolted to wall so you cannot properly wash difficult to reach areas. Bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Did not sleep well as a result. Should not be difficult to get right. I've stayed in several Premier Inns where the beds are super comfy. Room temperature not able to control so was too hot. Restaurant menu limited and very overpriced. Service very slow and I was ignored for over 15 mins. Staff at reception helpful.
