I wish trip advisor allowed half stars, as this would have been a 3.5 star for us. It was a mixed experience. The hotel location was perfect and the room was great, albeit a little small. The breakfast was great in our opinion, and the lady who coordinated it was just brilliant - an exemplar of good customer service. We had issues with the daily housekeeping (beds not made for days, new towels chucked on the ground). The staff when we gave the feedback were indifferent and seemed to lack any response in action (i.e. we were told it was being passed on). There also seemed to be a lack of willingness to address loud guests and serious smoking issues we had on the first few nights. However, the save for us was when we escalated to management they responded brilliantly and our issues were remedied. We stayed for two weeks, and only escalated on the 3rd last night, otherwise it would have been a 1-2 star rating from us. Wish we had done this earlier (not that we should have to). Hoping this is just some issues now that hotels are picking up post pandemic. We would given them another shot, but hope the customer service and housekeeping improved significantly.
