雲霄飯店(Beds on Clouds)

My wife and I went to check-in for a pre-paid two night stay, but became concerned during our wait when we saw the owner not following safe COVID protocols - no mask, no social distance - and also in a heated argument about it with another customer who was leaving early due to COVID concerns. My wife and I decided to leave rather than check-in, and requested a refund of our $400 pre-payment. The owner has refused to do that, insisting there was nothing wrong.

I strongly agree with the two recent reviews "Sad place ..." and "Overwhelmed" giving this B&B a 1 star "Terrible' rating. My wife and I went to check in for our $400 pre-paid two night stay, and we felt very uncomfortable with the owner and the house conditions. We decided not to check in, requested a refund (which the owner has refused), and left.

Not at all as advertised in description. Sitting area directly adjacent to owner’s bedroom - an elderly woman in poor health. She also leaves her bedroom door open. Room for guests is so small two people and even one suitcase would not fit.

Stayed for two nights. The inn keeper was irritated that we did not book directly through her and expressed this to us. She housed us in a very small room. The place has bizarre outdated decore. No breakfast was served. She did hav some apples and stale cookies out to snack on and n case you found yourself desperate. The location is great- you can walk to all of the nice local restaurants. If only the Inn was as nice as the location…..

Where to start… I have never left a review for anything, so you know it was bad. The house manager was rude over the phone, slightly more reasonable in person. The kitchen was closed, so the bed and breakfast had no breakfast - seemingly something that should have been addressed before allowing anyone to book the room. If the kitchen is closed for maintenance - you should tell potential guests, or at the very least, offer to cover their breakfast expense since they have to go elsewhere. The place was a mess. Room was clean in the sense that the bed was made - but everything was covered in dust. The AC was a wall unit that was mounted so high you couldn’t reach it unless standing on the mattress. There was no hot water in the shower. Don’t stay here.

Rebecca is the most terrible thing among all other things. She is the owner, receptionis, and what not. She is ill behaved, ****** and a real trouble maker. She is sick but that can’t be the excuse for mistreating the guests.

Please take this place off your site. It may have been lovely at one time but not anymore. No breakfast and no reduction on the bill as promised. The owner should not be booking guests. I don’t recommend staying there. The owner is overwhelmed and should close her doors to guests.

Room was very clean but very small. There was no breakfast. Owner claimed they didn't do business with *******. Took a long time to determine if we had a reservation. Would never stay there again.

Interesting place felt like you were staying at a friends house.
