格蘭維爾旅館--成人專用(Glenville House (Adults Only))

Had a lovely stay at the Glenville House last week. Owen, his wife & Debbie were very friendly & helpful during our 4 night stay. Our room was lovely with a new bathroom recently being installed. Breakfast was lovely & would certainly recommend staying here. Only a ten minute walk to Windermere & 15 mins walk to Bowness-on-Windermere & only 5 minutes to the Windermere social club which is well worth a visit.

We booked the entire property for a hen party in July 2023. We were greeted at the property by Owen who was very welcoming and friendly. The property was perfect and in a great location. The new extension at the back of the property was amazing - lovely touches and everything we could need for a girly weekend. The hot tub and pool table provided great entertainment. All the rooms were clean, well equipped and cosy. We hired a chef for a private dining experience one evening and Owen very kindly liaised with the chef to discuss the facilities etc in advance. This was a great help. We didn’t end up using it as the weather was so wet when we were there but there was a fantastic bbq at the property for guest use. Everyone loved staying at the property and we really cannot fault anything about it. We would definitely look at rebooking for another group stay in the future. Thank you!

We have just returned home from a fabulous stay at Glenville House. The hotel is in a perfect location between Bowness and Windermere with everything just being a short walk away. Our room was lovely and overlooked the beautiful well presented garden and we loved the personal touches that the hotel has to offer. Can’t wait to return with our friends. Thank you to the owners for being such lovely hosts.

Booked it on the morning and arrived in the afternoon. Owen was spot on to accommodate us. Everything was spot on. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy everywhere. Great location to explore Windermere and Bowness on Windermere. All the staff were excellent 👍🏻

Excellent location offering easy access to Windermere or Bowness on foot. Very welcoming with clean rooms, breakfast was nicely cooked made with quality products. Car parking available and Owen was able to recommend places to eat and drink.

Lovely wee guest house for a couple nights stay. Self check-in so didn’t meet the owner but the lady serving breakfasts and who also cleaned the rooms was really friendly. Cooked breakfast but not too much! There’s nothing worse than a huge mound of food on your plate! Continental also available. Well located between Windermere and Bowness and also Within walking distance of Lake Windermere.

The property was clean but that BIRCH room at that property is the most uncomfortable room every. Youe view is a roof top and back of the neighboring property horrible. We spoke with the owners , they balantly did nothing to asist us although the hotel was empty and we were staying for a whole week . The wife Jayne was rude and unpleasant to deal with not good host. Peter the husband was a bit better. We were very uncomfortable in that room ,the bathroom is very poky and uncomfortable to sit on . I could not wait to come home to my comfortbale house.

Overall Amazing even with bad weather

Lovely room and gave us good recommendations of places to eat in Windermere for tea and breakfast. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. The spa and gym was just a short drive away and we loved using the facilities over the 2 days we stayed, it was a really nice addition.
