One of the worst experiences. Arrived on 8/19 at 4:30pm was told our room was not ready and it would be ready in an hour. We waited until 6pm followed back up with the clerk and was told the room was still not ready. The front desk clerk stated for our troubles we would receive a 50% discount and 1pm checkout. I had to change clothes in the bathroom for the concert we were attending. We went to the concert but had to leave early because we needed a key to enter the hotel after 11pm. When we returned back to the hotel the front desk clerk stated she said sold our room. We did NOT find the joke funny. We ended up checking out at 11:30 due to the fire alarm going off and I just wanted this nigh**are to end. When checking out I asked the clerk on duty about our discount, and she stated she was not aware of a discount. She provided me the manager Jeff Staton information I tried calling and left voicemail and never received a call back. We also didn't receive our discount that we were told we would receive.

Staff shortage caused us to not be able to check in until after 6pm and only after several people raised their voices in protest. Was promised 1/2 off for the inconvenience. We shall see.... At check out, elevator broke, people were trapped in it, fire depar**ent had blocked several of our vehicles from leaving.

Over all it was ok. The staff was great and kind. Breakfast was fresh and warm and the coffee was good. Check in was at 4pm, we didn’t get into our room until 8pm. due to it being not clean and ready for us. They didn’t clean our room one time since they were understaffed. We found bugs coming out the bathtub drain (roaches) not many…but enough to not ever want to come back to this site…this was on our last evening there.

Excellent service!!! Arrived late but hotel clerk was pleasant, efficient and provided excellent customer service.

I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express that was bad, and this was no exception except its location. Traveling as a single woman, I would not have felt comfortable walking to a nearby restaurant or store, even during the day. I was only there one night, so not really an issue. My only specific gripe about the stay was the cheap toilet tissue. I think that could have been better based on the cost to stay there.

Everything was ok, basic hotel… room was not cleaned during our stay. The attendants wouldn’t let my 10 year old serve herself even though I had 4 kids one of which was an infant so it was hard to get her food when she was capable of doing it herself.

We absolutely loved staying here. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The shower and the room was really comfortable. The location was perfect. My only complaint is getting charged the 50$ extra that I can’t seem to get off my card. We left our room spotless except a pizza box.

Beds comfortable clean close to great food places of 17th street.

Very clean and the staff was wonderful. Great breakfast bar.
