奮進飯店(The Endeavour)

From a friendly welcome on arrival to the the pleasure of hunkering down in the bar, in front of a roaring fire, with your fish supper from the local chippy and a pint of Timothy Taylors. Then up to a room with a view over the harbour. All within a short stroll of everything. All this at a budget price. Will be back. This

Had a lovely stay at the Endeavour. The staff were so helpful, helped us in with our luggage, ordered a takeaway for us and were very friendly. Particular mention goes to Michelle the cleaner. She really looked after us. View is superb! Downside separate bathroom for room 4, leaky taps and door straight from pub onto stairs.

Amazing stay as always. This was our third time at the Endeavour. We love the friendliest company in the bar of an evening, we can bring in fish and chips and be provided with forks etc. the dogs Are welcome and there is a doggy menu and treats available free at the bar. Lovely to sit in front of a real fire this weekend while it was cold. Room 3 was good, new bathroom nicely decorated, however the bed is a little big for the room as it’s a bulky frame but no issue. Would just make more room if it wasn’t a sleigh bed. We have also stayed in room 1 where there’s a lovely view. There is always a bottle of water, yea bags, milk, wagon wheels and club biscuits for people staying in the rooms. Shower gel and soap! Make sure you try a boozy coffee or hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow!! It’s easy walking distance to the town and at the bottom so no hill climbing. Thank you again x

We arrived on the Friday evening and a very friendly barmaid checked us in. The room was small but very clean. The following morning the owner told us that the bar was closed as 3 of the staff had sickness. This meant there was no house keeping so i had to find somewhere to dry our wet towels. The location couldnt be more perfect. My only small gripe was that we had to park a 10 minute walk away in a public car park across the water.

Our stay at The Endeavour was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking is offsite (we used the Abbey Carpark £9 for 24hrs) but the location of The Endeavour is perfect (central Whitby). Already looking at our next booking.

Lovely room, very clean and comfy. Bit noisy as it overlooked a main road. Nice pub, very friendly staff. Parking was opposite in a town car park. Free from 6pm till 9am but spaces were at a premium, had to sit in the car park waiting for someone to leave.

Fabulous location right on the harbour and close to the main town with pubs cafes and lovely walks Service was amazing so friendly and helpful A little noisy on the road and in the hotel walls are paper thin - could hear next door Snoring then the other side drinking and talking Had to place the radio on low to drown them out ( a little of classical music ) But such a fabulous place

Friendly staff nice quiet bar. Parked fro free in main road. Easy access to shopping area and walks. Would stay again.

Hotel was great management great but we was turned away even though we was staying at hotel by staff pub was busy but we had to go else we’re for a drink as there was no table free was only disappointment
