The room itself has a microwave, cutlery/plates, fridge which is perfect! I sometimes prefer a takeaway in a hotel and keep some milk/fruit in the fridge for the morning. So it's nice that you can actually eat the takeaway with the right utensils and not risk leaving milk at room temperature all night.Loved the decor and idea of a communal kitchen to.Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I booked a family room at the Lucarelli Inn. Turns out, I had found a winner. The Lucarelli is a huge, popular Italian restaurant with rooms upstairs. It's very well located near the New Square shopping development with a multitude of shops and restaurants. There is a lot of parking available at the hotel. We were checked in efficiently by a friendly young lady, I was impressed with the early check in time. We turned up soon after 12 and the room was ready. It was advertised as a double and a single but the double was huge - basically 2 single beds together. The wifi worked well, toiletries and coffee / tea was plentiful, the tv was good and everything was clean. If I was looking with a critical eye I would think the room was a little dated, but it was comfortable, well located, quiet - what's not to love?! I would stay here again without hesitation.

I am used to coming to England with my family but I note with regret that Mrs. Stacey, the manager, is trying to spoil our stay and is not at all professional. for example, I asked for a toothbrush (because my wife had forgotten hers), and at reception they explained to me that the hotel had too many customers and that they could not give us any. I also reported to reception that we left the hotel in the morning and that when we returned, our rooms had not been cleaned, Stacey offered to change rooms (at 10:30 p.m.) with me. my 5 children or else to no longer come to this hotel. This same Stacey gave us problems during our last stay over a coffee issue. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff is horrible, disgusting, unpleasant and ungrateful.

We had a good welcome on arrival. My room was on the first floor overlooking the car park and main road. It was surprisingly not too noisy. The room was spacious, with a large comfy double bed and a sofa bed. . There was a good well stocked hospitality tray & a comfy seat. The shower room was small but adequate, there was basic toiletries in there. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices of fruits, cereals and juices. The hot selection was excellant. I couldn't see any milk alternatives but I'm sure there was some. I enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.
