What a fantastic hotel/apt studio right in the heart of Wellington CBD. For the price and amenities, it really can't be beaten. I'd paid more previously at TRYP, but this Quest location is far better. 👍 Although the room is the same size, it has far more amenities w a kitchenette, eating area, washer/dryer and toiletries. Right outside it's easy to find eateries and you're in walking distance of the cable car, the museum, shopping and sundries. Can't recommend this place enough if you want bang for your buck, and you don't plan on being in the room long. Great for layovers. P.s.- they have limited reception hours, so if you're arriving after 7pm or require assistance, this place might not be for you. Very self-service.

Nice location. Washer/dryer helpful. Next to supermarket and across from double tree and intercontinental. Room size is adequate but for those with a few luggages, it will be a squeeze. Overall very efficient but the team must be able to deliver on their respective roles eg house keeping, otherwise there is no backup if anything goes wrong.

The room is fine but access and parking is a dreadful nightmare. Be prepared to drag your cases down industrial steel fire escape stairs from the car park through other properties and for a long ,long way just to get to reception on level 4. We followed the exact instructions given to us by the hotel and it was torture. You should avoid this hotel if you have luggage or require parking. My wife is still getting over this terrible torture track to get from carpark to hotel. I may not live this one down!

Our stay here set the standard for the rest of the trip and not many other hotels have met the mark. We were warmly welcomed to check in, well in advance of the usual check-in time. We were immensely grateful for this as we had just reached the end of 35 hours travelling from the UK. The room was clean and furnished to a high standard, with complimentary tea, coffee and milk - including Nespresso machine. Whilst we didn’t need it ourselves, the room had a washer dryer with complimentary washing powder. The hotel is conveniently located to some of the city’s main attractions, including the Cable Car, botanical gardens, waterfront and Te Pa. There were also plenty of shops nearby if that’s what you’re after. We would definitely return. If arriving from the airport, the AirPort Express was a flat NZ$10 each, took about fifteen minutes and the stop is pretty much right outside the hotel.

A little difficult to spot, particularly when you are first approaching by car. There is an area in the street outside that you can use whilst unloading and checking in, and then you need to arrange car parking with the hotel in a separate place. We were in a Studio apartment, and this is a true apartment hotel in the proper sense of the name. The room was very spacious, had a fully equipped kitchenette, with a hob, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, etc, a washer/drier, and a dining table. The hotel is in an ideal position in the heart of the city, with the cable car on the doorstep, the railway station a 5/10 minute walk, a supermarket within a 5 minute walk, and the Queen’s Wharf/Seafront only a couple of blocks away.

We stayed for a few days and our stay with Quest 256 Lambtom was hassle-free. The hotel common areas and our room was clean and tidy. I also appreciated the complimentary espresso and tea. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is convenient too with lots of restaurants and dining options within walking distance from the hotel. The cable car is also just a few metres away.
