The Lyle was very welcoming. The check-in was top notch. Bar area cozy. Room was tastefully furnished and comfortable for our weekend stay. Would stay here again.

This place was highly rated, so I was excited to stay here but it wasn't great at all. It's overpriced for no reason. The best service was my first night there the 2 valets who helped me with my car and another who brought my belongings upstairs. Other than that, I had to wait 1+hrs for ice as there is no machine. I paid additional for a kitchenette, and they have no microwave. The sheets smelled very bad, and I had to douse them with perfume. The bathroom also had a funny odor. My remote didn't work to try and order food and I was given a replacement that also ended up not working. I placed my card out the first night for breakfast and it wasn't picked up, but fine I went down both days to get my food. I prepaid for breakfast for both days and was still charged and called x2 and on the 2nd day I was helped and have only been refunded for 1 additional charge even though we agreed I would be refunded for 2. I won't bother to call again because it's not worth the hassle. I come to DC a lot for trips, and I usually love my stays. This was the first time in a long time I was highly disappointed. It just really wasn't worth it. I would never stay here again.

It was such a great memory than a trip for our family. We have 2 kids and from design of the rooms to the comfort of the beds, from great meals to the parking service it was fabulous. The team is great and everyone spends great effort to make you feel comfortable. Especially Front Desk Manager Kenny is a great person with all kindness and professionalism to solve everything. Definitely Lyle will be our address at next stay.

Front desk and valet team were very accommodating. Bartender and servers were wonderful. F&B was diverse and delicious. A very nice atmosphere all around. My blood runs cold so the room was a bit cold with weather conditions but they provided me with a space heater! My only complaint room service never came but front desk was able to provide clean towels. Overall very happy and will return.

I usually like staying at the Lyle. However, my recent stay was not good at all and I have given my feedback to the front desk but nobody seemed to care. The room I had was next to a linen closet which was made of metal (like a gym locker). When people would open and close the door, it made a very loud noise. The closet was also placed in the worst position and it partially blocked the entrance to my room. I had to navigate getting my luggage through. I also thought it was a fire hazard. In the room there was a constant loud noise, possibly coming from the heat. The noise would go off and then it would go quiet and then it would start again. I barely slept. It was the worst sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel stay! Between the loud noise in my room and the loud noise from the linen closet outside my door, I had the worst experience. I’d have to rethink ever staying at the Lyle again after this.
