Very good hotel, whether it is the service attitude, the decoration style of the room, the degree of hygiene, much better than the nearby Marriott hotel, highly recommended, will come again
訪訪客The hotel is ok. One thing that I noticed was that they forgot to empty the rubbish bin in the bathroom with someone's dirty socks in it. But for one-night stay that was not a big deal. The problem that I had was that I left my neck chain with a silver cross in that same bathroom. Nothing special, not expensive, but that was ”a part of me” :) I left Warsaw and Poland but called the reception on the evening the same day. The receptionist had problems speaking English so I tried by best Polish. She seemed to understand and asked to call the next day. I called the next day about ten times but they hanged up every time. Obviously fixed my number and did not want to bother. I wrote an e-mail explaining the case and suggesting solutions. No answer. I suspect some cleaning lady liked the thing. Sad.
訪訪客I stayed here for a few nights on a sightseeing trip and had a lovely stay. The location is convenient for getting around as there are tram and bus stops directly outside the hotel and also a metro station less than ten minutes away (Dworzec Gdanski). You can also walk to the Old town easily. To and from the airport I preferred taking a taxi though as there is no direct line. The breakfast had everything I expected; various breads, cereals and hot dishes such as scrambled egg and sausages and fruit. The staff are polite and welcoming. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and the only noise I heard was from the odd siren outside during the night (I stayed in a room facing the busy street but was on the 5th floor so that helped). The rooms were very warm though and the air condition seemed to be set to heating only (maybe always at this time of year) so this was a little uncomfortable. The duvet was really thick as well so took a while to get used to. Other than that I think it's a great hotel for the price and location and would highly recommend it. The wifi was also superb, worked throughout the hotel and didn't cut out once.
訪訪客We stayed in the large room and really enjoyed the location. We are walkers and found we were pretty centrally located with a 40 minute walk to Old Town, 30 minutes to Warsaw Uprising Museum, 15 minutes to Palace of Culture and Science, 3 minute walk to Hala Koszyki and a 20 minute walk to Lazienki Park. Every direction we went there was something to see. A big plus for the location was that we were surrounded by many fantastic restaurants, bars and cafes. The beds were decently comfy but the hostel is in an older building and being so close to the bars meant the street below was occasionally noisy. The hostel is quite clean and charming though. We appreciated that we had a kitchen with cookware and plates but we hadn't planned to use it - could have probably saved a few dollars if we did though. The large room we stayed in was nicely appointed with a table, chairs and TV. We found the room got a little warm at times but the big windows did a good job at cooling it down but I don't think I would choose this place in hot weather because people can be noisy until 1 in the morning and it would take away from my sleep. As far as we know there is not an elevator in this building and it is quite a hike to get to the third floor to check in so if you have mobility issues you may want to reconsider staying at this hostel. The area for check in has a kitchen and a place to hangout so might be worthwhile if you booked a shared room. There are some small balconies that belong to the hostel so you can sit on them with a book or have a smoke. We were a little surprised that despite booking a large room we did not have a private bathroom. If you need a private bathroom make sure that it says that in the description of the room or you will settle for shared. We didn't mind because the bathroom was clean and available whenever we needed it. We shared it with three other rooms and had no issues with cleanliness during our stay. The hostel only provides a small bottle of soap per person so you may want to consider bring your own shampoo. If the bathroom was unavailable we had the option of using one in another area of the hostel. Check in was kind of fun because it is next to the area where people can hang out so I had troubles hearing the lady at the counter. They understand that their stairs are a little bit of a maze so they will help you get to your room. The key they gave us had a door code so we could get in on our own. You will need to have a smaller bill (ie 5 Euros) for deposit for the room. We were told that we could exit through the stairs near our room but the door was locked when we stayed and we couldn't figure out how to open it. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we found it was a good, inexpensive and central base for us while we explored Warsaw.
訪訪客Cleanliness and order every day, the presence of a hair dryer in the shower, comfortable and high-quality gel / shampoo in the shower and soap in the toilet, high-quality toilet paper. Comfortable mattress, comfortable and stylish beds, modern interior throughout the hotel, shower and toilet in the room, delicious breakfast, the staff speaks Russian, Polish, English, convenient location in Warsaw
訪訪客The Hostel is located near many good restaurants, convenience stores and bars which is perfect to make an exploration base in Warsaw and relax in the evening. The check in was smooth and easy but there are instructions for after hours because the front desk is not always attended - this includes codes for doors and how to check out if you are leaving very early We booked the queen room and a room with a bunk bed and a single bed. All rooms were quiet and had comfy beds with good pillows. We were supplied with towels but no soap/shampoo but luckily it seems that previous guests left behind some body wash. The queen room was on the fourth floor and did not have a private bathroom but did have a bathroom shared between a few rooms. The queen room was also without coverings for the window and was a bit stuffy - to solve this we draped a blanket over the window and kept it open to keep it cool. Our family stayed in a room with the bunk bed and had a private bathroom and curtains but all bathrooms were a little smelly (from the drains). The bathroom smell issue was easily resolved by keeping the door shut. The hostel has a good common area with a kitchen and many showers and toilets on the main floor of the hostel. The hostel staff appear to be able to arrange tours or make suggestions but we were on our way out of Warsaw so we didn't test this. The hostel has door codes to access the building and the floors with rooms so it felt quite safe. We also appreciated that they had an elevator here which made it very accessible. The public transport system make it very convenient to get around Warsaw and rideshares are inexpensive in Poland. We enjoyed walking and had no issues getting to major attractions in Poland like the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the Palace of Culture and Science, the old town area and many nice gardens and squares. We got a good night's rest here.
