This was my first stay at the Marriott Melville. Room decor was pleasant and updated. I liked the mood lighting, tv options, and shower toiletries. I was also happy with the room service options. The front desk staff was friendly, however, I think they forgot to ask me for a credit card for incidentals at check in. This resulted in me receiving a call and email from accounting after check out to resolve this issue. Overall, my guest room was clean, except for a previous guest's hair in the shower. I also feel the parking lot could have more lighting. I arrived at night to a full lot, and felt uncomfortable walking alone from the back of the parking lot to the entrance.
