西公園旅館(West Lodge Park)

A bit hit and miss, sometimes you get a great experience, a good room and a welcome feeling, other times a bit below par. Definitely suits the older clientele, and the rooms I have stayed in, and particularly the bathrooms are in need of a refresh.

Absolutely loved our time at West Lodge Park - good old fashioned customer service. Breakfast taken on both mornings of our stay was tasty and plentiful - albeit a little bit of a strange queuing system around people who are eating there own breakfast to access the hot cooked fayre. All staff we engaged with were super friendly, courteous and attentive. We will return for sure.

Really beauty buffet

Lovely hotel. The grounds are stunning and so well kept. Decor in the rooms could do with updating but they are nice enough and the beds very comfortable. Clean hotel. Enjoyed my stay.

Love the grounds and food. Very disappointed that when I ordered breakfast in room as I begun to eat a member of staff arrived to take payment, completely spoiling my breakfast and stay When I complained I received an apology but I was still very upset about it.

4 star hotel but 2-3 star rooms. Might have been unlucky but the experience was very underwhelming, approached the desk for check in, be started to check me in, phone rand and kept me waiting for about 10 minutes, guess it was an awkward call. Finally got my key, room was nice at first glance but the chair and the window seat were covered in white stains. Checkout at 11 am, not great after a night out. Overall, it was ok but wont be going back.

Hadn’t used the hotel for 3 or 4 years but it felt like less than a 4 star experience. The decor is quite tired both in the hotel public areas and room. The Shepherds Pie at dinner was unseasoned and, as a result, completely bland and the coffee bags provided in our room made poor coffee

On arrival room had very strong sell of cigarette smoke. Bed was very uncomfortable, far too firm!
