Located right in front of Ashbury Park, room is fully equipped , overall not bad. Recommended

Amazing break away owners are very kind and welcoming had a couple of internet issues. Great place to stay very good location close to all facilities. Well sheltered from any noise from the road. with good storage and cooking appliances. Fantastic stay would be back and recommend to others .

The shower had mold in it, place was not very clean. The owners tried to take money out of my account for a bond without confronting me first and then told us we had to leave when we didnt do anything wrong and there was no damage to the property at all. The staff were very rude and made us feel so unwelcome. We weren’t allowed to cook any food without the staff coming in and telling us off then kicking us out while we were sleeping and someone was getting changed while he walked in, there was no knock on the door just walked in.

We stayed here while on a biking trip in the South Island. It was two level accomodation adjacent and below a main road. Walking distance to green areas and supermarket. The unit was clean but had an unusual layout in the bathroom and second bedroom which wasn't ideal. There was no sound proofing between floors where we had kids running around upstairs late into the night and workers using this as a base coming and going. It was not restful with additional traffic noise. Wife was not happy with the amount of light from outside lights reflecting onto the ceiling from the top of the curtains. The manager/owner was very pleasant and helpful and we were able to park safely with our bikes. Location was ideal for us although entry was via a side street. Would be stay again. Probably not.

We thought it fine for couples, but any extras would be embarrassing as shower and toilet combined. The space was so small you had to step out into the second bathroom (handbasin in there) to get dressed. Otherwise it had everything we needed.

Easy to find central to everything clean comfy beds alot of space. Road noise loud however slept sound.

Good host and service, however the room looks a bit dated and quite hot during summer

motel situated in handy place for getting in and out of , good parking and fery friendly couple who own it. Have stayed there numerous times and keep going back
