We had a really great experience with our stay at Under the Canvas. Location was incredible. The tents themselves were pretty impressive with amazing views of the park. The staff was really great. Sam was beyond helpful and really made us feel like we were staying at a 5 star resort. He provided amazing guidance on how to spend our short time in Zion and was just on it the whole time. He really was a big part of why our stay was such a great experience. Kelsie B. was also such a pleasure to be around. She was wonderful and really patient with all of our questions. Highly recommend going to her with any needs. The only staff that I would try to avoid was Paige. She really brought the entire experience down a bit with her shortness and lack to want to help. Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

The glamping experience is cool for first-time glampers but Under Canvas is definitely overpriced and has a lot of areas they can improve upon before charging what they are charging. The service staff was nice but all young and not very professional or knowledgeable. The person who checked us in had no suggestions for nearby hikes even though we were in the hiking mecca. The food was probably the biggest disappoin**ent. The menu looked so promising but the $20+ plates of food looked as good as Fyre Festival plates served with the cheapest, plastic utensils. It was barely edible. On the positive side, the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The tents have fire stoves in them and stayed very warm. We had a good night's sleep and could stargaze from our beds. Even given the positives, I would not recommend or go back to another Under Canvas campsite given my experience at Zion and how expensive they are.

Best under canvas experience to date. Great room, convenient comfortable easily accessible, great customer service, cute gift shop, breath taking views, 65 degrees at night july 6, right near park entry.

I had a great time at Under Canvas. I went with my family for my birthday. The staff was so friendly and nice! The food was great! Only complete, bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows a little too full for me, but other then that it was a great experience!!

This was our second experience at an under canvas. We enjoyed our stay however a few recommendations for the hotel: 1. The tents are much closer to one another than when we stayed at Mount Rushmore. This meant not a lot of privacy. It’s hot so you want to keep the flap open however this is hard to do when people are driving by 6 feet from your tent opening. 2. The common area was lovely however there was gnats everywhere which made it difficult to enjoy. The staff is aware of this issue but hasn’t done anything to help. They could easily have candles or some other type of deterrent to make it better. 3. We also noticed a ton of holes in our tent for any type of creepy crawly to get inside. Again I realize this is still a tent at the end of the day but I don’t recall seeing this when we were at the Mount Rushmore property

Great place to unplug and enjoy the time with your family. Don’t expect WiFi or cell service. Clean comfortable bed. On windy night, wear the ear plugs. You can thank me later. The food was great as well as the service.

This is wonderful but you need to go in warm weather. The fire place should not be use it’s very dangerous and can case breading problem. Please be aware. The staff there will tell you that it’s safe well it’s not.
