杜羅河濱公寓(Douro Riverside Apartments)

The place had an incredible view of the Duoro river, with walking distance to upper and lower Porto, which were unbeatable. The unit also came with its own parking spot few streets down the main building, which is rare to find in Porto. However, the entrance to the apar**ent is very dangerous as it requires 3 flights of narrow and uneven stairs. There was also a very unpleasant odor in the hallway leading to the apar**ent, with random ikea bags lined up in the staircase. The apar**ent itself is very clean, however; it’s very small and tight, which was noticed in the bedroom as the bed barely fit into the room. The bathroom itself required some maintained & attention, as it appeared to have some black mold in the shower or “black silicone” which was mentioned to us by the owner after we shared our concerns reaching to him on a platform. There was also a very unpleasant sewerage smell all throughout the unit, which is possibly from the bathroom pipes. When we reached out to the owner in regards to our concerns after our stay, we were informed that these apar**ents and building is old due to Porto history and not up to “American” standards. In our opinion, the only good thing about this apar**ent was view and location. It wasn’t a warm or a welcoming place.

We stayed in Ravello Boats, up just 1 flight of stairs, which was wonderful. Comfortable bed, room to open 2 large suitcases, everything worked. As advertised, the view from the river-facing windows is wonderful. Jorge and Celeste have thought of everything, including parking if needed, and we’re prompt with helpful replies when needed. Also, the info they provide once booking is done is second to none. Location is great - walk everywhere. I’d stay here again, unreservedly.

The view was marvelous from the top floor apar**ent. And they were transparent in publishing that it was a walk up. They did not tell you that the staircase is steep and narrow. It was so steep that we could not easily carry our suitcases up. The staircase was very steep and therefore I would not recommend this property to older persons. To make space matters worse the front door is spring loaded and very narrow. If you are a large person or carrying a large suitcase it will be difficult to enter. Finally, the bedroom is very narrow. The space between the bed and the walls is less than 12 inches. This makes navigating a late night visit to the bathroom very difficult. Again this property has a beautiful view of the river, is quiet, and is very convenient to the Port houses in Gaia.

Vista maravilhosa sobre Gaia e Porto, ideal para quem é apaixonado pela cidade, pois contemplar está vista é extraordinario. As instalações eram boas, embora o aquecimento deixasse um pouco a desejar, assim como a cabine de chuveiro não escoar a água em condições. De resto cozinha muito bem equipada serviço de TV muito atrativo e quarto bonito com roupeiro grande e leds que deixam um ambiente mais à vontade... Concerteza voltarei

Appartement au troisième étage avec une vue splendide sur Porto. Très bien rénové, fonctionnel et confortable. Proche des caves de Porto et du centre historique que nous avons visité à pied. Nombreux restaurants à proximité. Procédure d’arrivée autonome très bien expliquée par mail. Avantage appréciable du parking inclus. Communication facile et réactive par mail avec les propriétaires.

I had a wonderful stay at the riverside apar**ent. The location is perfect. Close to everything. We walk every where. I would give this review a 10 if if was quiet at night. There is construction going on from 11 pm till 3am. I have photo and video to prove it. Anyway, overall I love the place. I will definitely recommend to friend and family.

Fantastic location overlooking the river, with excellent restaurants within a few 100 metres on the riverside. Very easy to get across the river on both lower and upper levels of the bridge. Oustatnding communication from the hosts, and the secure parking is only a few 100 metres away so very easy indeed. We loved our time in the par**ent, and would most certainly stay gain if we ever return to the wonderfil city of Porto. 5* indeed

혼자 여행, 1층 묵었고 숙소 위치, 뷰 말도 안되게 좋았어요. 체크인 하자마자 2시간동안 창문에 멍때리고 앉아 뷰만 봤네요. 사진보다 훨씬 이뻐요. 부엌, 화장실 모두 창문이 있고 뷰 미쳤습니다. 바로앞에 동루이스 다리 있어서 이동하기도 어렵지 않았어요. 계단이 힘들다 해도 성인 여성 혼자 캐리어 끌고 이동할만 한 정도였고 라디에이터 하나 히터 하나씩 있어서 난방에도 큰 문제 없었어요. 부엌에는 기본적인 양념과 조리도구 있었고 와인오프너는 없었어요. 다만 제가 먹은 와인은 오프너가 필요없는 포트와인이었습니다. 뭐하나 빠지는 것 없이 매우 추천하는 숙소입니다.

Small studio apar**ent, Doors are very small to acess and the stairs are narrow and steep. Nice view from small kitchen/bathroom. Parking is a fair distance away. Overall nice appar**ent and very close to ammenities/shopping and Louis Bridge.
