前城堡旅館(Prior Castle Inn)

We enjoyed our stay at the Prior Castle Inn immensely. Our room on the top floor was perfect. From the balcony we enjoyed a nice view of the charming tree lined neighborhood and the water/mountains off in the distance. The Inn is tastefully decorated in period furnishings. Everything was immaculate. Jeff was a wonderful host. He was friendly and helpful. The full english breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend the Prior Castle Inn.

Very unique place with lots of history located in a charming area of town. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that was well furnished with a great sitting area outside as well. The place comes with a nice buffet breakfast served between 8 and 10. Parking is off the street. Staff is nice and helpful. There are treats, tea, snacks, and juice available as well as ice. We had a king size bed too. Located down the street (3 minute walk) to the government house and gardens. Very much worth the venture.

The hotel is an old british house, with a lot of style. The room was very spatious and we had a separate room with another double bed for our daughter. Contrary to the rooms, the bathroom is modern (which is very pleasant) and has both a shower and a bathtube. All very nice. Breakfast was superb with lots of fresh choices, eggs, bacon, scones, fruits, and so on. The breakfast room is particularly nice with little cosy details. For all the above it would be a 5 star ranking, but we had some problems: first, our room was not cleaned up (we stayed two nights) despite the fact that we did hang out the sign to the cleaning people (as specified in the instructions) at 10 in the morning and returned at 18:00. I read that this is not the first time it happens to other travellers so that's quite disappointing for a place that is not cheap at all. Also when we arrived the room was really cold cause they forgot the heating and this caused some problems

We were there for a two-night getaway between Christmas and New Year's Day. It's a wonderful mansion in a beautiful neighborhood. The mansion is a Certified Victoria Heritage Home, so it is very authentic, neatly kept and maintained. The decor is reminiscent. of the 1900, yet it has all the modern necessities. We had a very large room on the second floor, with an attached living room, kitchenette, and luxurious 2-person green marble hot tub. The dining room had the warm cozy feel of the kitchen we remember as a child. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with eggs made fresh any way you want them. We will be back.

We treated ourselves to a trip to Victoria for our Christmas present. The B&B was fantastic. We loved our room, it was gorgeous. Our wonderful host was Jeff and he was also the chef. Breakfast was delicious in the fabulous dining room. We have already recommended to friends and they have booked their own stay there. Loved the marble hot tub and the bathroom was huge. Posted photos on Facebook and had many positive comments and lots of friends and family wanting to visit Prior Castle Inn.

Amazing experience, staff was very attentive and friendly. We stayed in the top floor room which was very calm. Breakfast was top notch, poached eggs included. They have chips cookies and fruits available as snacks every time if you want. No negatives. Only thing we have to use Uber in Victoria because we have a problem with ******* and Routes car and we finally could not rent a car. Don’t rent with them!

The place looks very much like a typical English manor. We had a huge room actually two separate rooms, very nicely decorated, as also the rest of the hotel is. The best part is of course the full english breakfast which was delicious and abundant, served in a super-cosy decorated room. On the negative side: the day we arrived the room was very cold (they forgot to put the heating on) and the second day our room was not cleaned up, although we put the appropriate sign outside the room when we left (as from instructions). On both occasions the guy who runs the place simply said they forgot but did not even apologize or tried to make up. This probably happened to other people as i read in some reviews, so it is a bit suspicious.

Great place/ fabulous breakfast/ highly recommended. This is a venerable old house that now offers comfortable lodging in a classic British environment. We stayed at a rom with a small kitchenette that was well appointed. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the gardens outside our room and shared a bottle of wine in a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at any B and B with many choices in a buffet style. Freshly baked scones, eggs perfectly poached and a wonderful arugula salad were just some of the many options. We will be back!

Great bed and breakfast. We had the Westminster room which had plenty space for four adults. But one bathroom and one bedroom. Useful kitchen as well. Location is great. Walking distance to Goverment house and craigdarroch castle. And abkhazi garden. Warning - no elevator.
