This property refused to clean my room because I am staying only two nights. They claim that this is Marriott’s new rule to only clean your room if you’re staying more than 2 nights. Note: we paid $700 for two nights in a middle of nowhere hotel.

The reviews were accurate. The rooms were good. Not dated. Well maintained. Easy walk to several restaurants. Take advantage of the Poconos pub if you can. Breakfast options are decent. Breakfast sandwiches, taste, english muffins, cereals, yogurt. 24h free coffee/tea is good. I just had problems with my fridge on the first couple of days. Advised that it was fixed. put some leftovers in, discovered fridge stopped working a second time. lost some food :-( They fixed again, and rest of stay was fine. Overall,nice place. Highly recommend. Just make sure fridge works long term before putting anything in.

The lady who received us was not welcoming at all. She shouldn't be working with customers if you aren't going to be pleasant.

Terrific hotel. Friendly , helpful and attentive staff. Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast has plenty of choices and the coffee is delicious.

Nice hotel in a great location. Front desk staff was great. Only reason we did not give a better rating is the house keeping…sub par… one day they entered room left coffee pods( that is how we know they were there) but did not service room and turned sign on door to the “no service” When we told the front desk they called house keeping to return to room and service. Whoever showed up literally pull the comforter over the bed and left two hand towels…

We love the Fairfield Inns. This one was ok, but didn't seem to be as updated as the others we have been to. Not having the usual super comfy pillowtop mattresses was a bit of a disappointment, but otherwise its a perfectly nice hotel. No complaints!

When we got to the hotel their system was down so we couldn’t use the cards to go in or out of our room. the front desk lady had to escort us every time. Then we had to move 2 times because we had ants in our room and the third room we got we realized at night when we got back that it was dirty as well but it was our last night and we were too tired to move again. There was a hair in our bed and other black dots as well that we didn’t know what they were. When we went to the pool we couldn’t access it because the pool door wouldn’t open with our room keys. We had to ask the lady at the front desk to open for us. We asked for towels and that lady was upset to see that there were towels (couldn’t see from outside) in the pool. That lady never smiled and made us feel like we are bothering her When we moved from the second room to the third we left our shower bag on the bathroom counter. When we got back at night we wanted to shower after the pool, we saw we don’t have it. My husband went down to the lobby to ask if it was found and the lady said it’s not there. We asked if she could see with the guest who is in that room if it is still there and she said she can’t do that. The next morning when we checked out my husband saw a different person in the lobby so he asked again. He went to check and the general manager came and said that they did find it yesterday but they put it somewhere and she doesn’t know where. We had to catch a plain so we had to leave without it!

The location was perfect. DD was within walking distance as the coffee was terrible. For the price of the room for one night of 400.00 was insane, but we needed a place to stay. The breakfast was not worth mentioning, fake eggs NO FRUIT at all. Room was very clean, all staff were pleasant including breakfast lady. Unfortunately, there was drunk lady on my floor and the police had her at the end of the hallway outside my door and woke me up at 1:30 in the morning.

Nice room and facilities, however the noise above us was very disturbing. People above us were walking around so loud that we heard constant thumping during the evening. Seems the floor/ceilings are very thin and sound travels easily. Get a room on the top floor or else be prepared for a poor nights’ sleep.
