We setup a late check in and arrived at 1am after traveling from Chicago. When we arrived, we were told that they have had no water service since 3pm. They had our phone number and email, but no one contacted us to explain the situation, they had many hours to give us a heads up. We were told we could use the bathroom across the street at McDonalds if we still wanted to stay there, that was the best offer they had. We ended scrambling but found another hotel at 2am that had availability and water. I understand things go wrong, but this situation would have been totally different if they contacted us to explain.
