Riverside

Just home from a lovely 2 night stay in riverside guest house. Rooms well decorated, spacious & very clean. The owner was friendly and recommended things for us to do in the area which helped us. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay here 😊

Excellent accueil du propriétaire à l’arrivée pour notre groupe de 10 ; il a mis à notre disposition son parking personnel ; L’auberge est très cosy et rien n’est laissé au hasard ; les chambres sont parfaitement propres et bien tenues ; sdb impeccable. Le pdj est au niveau d’excellence , préparée par le patron avec un choix large , écossais, continental . Le tarif , 120 GBP, est très raisonnable pour la région et au niveau des prestations . Merci au propriétaire pour cette belle étape !

Brilliant B&B a minute from the ferry port to Stornaway. Very clean with attention to detail. Breakfast was everything you need. Will certainly come back if the occasion arises. Chris and Yvonne from Cardiff

Efficient, clean no frills b&b with standard breakfast offering, shame Scottish porridge was not an option. For one night stay adequate. Walking distance to sea and restaurants, though note out of season limited choice.

The B&B is located away from the main thoroughfare in a lovely quiet area. You would Never know that the busy ferry port is literally 5 minutes away. Our host was so informative on arrival and gave us as much info as we needed with regards to dining out. Our room was the four poster double located at the rear of the house and it was complete peace and quiet. The room was so well appointed, and it is a fantastic touch having fresh milk in the fridge for the tea and coffee. This one is definitely on the list for a return visit

Very friendly, helpful owner, delicious breakfast and very comfortable room. Could not fault it. Very convenient as just out of town but an easy walk into town and good parking. We were made to feel very welcome and the owner gave us lots of good concise information.

Excellent. Greeted by a friendly owner called Nadine. Lovely lady. Lovely room. Quiet area. Easy to park in driveway. Would definitely go back again and would recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer in the area.

Heel vriendelijk onthaal en attent met een aantal tips. Het Guesthouse is heel rustig gelegen in het noorden van het dorp ongeveer een 300 meter van het centrum dus alles op wandelafstand. Wij hadden een kamer aan de achterkant met Twin bedden. Hele goede matrassen dus een prima nachtrust gehad. In de kamer is niet veel zit gelegenheid maar beneden is een mooie en gezellig ingerichte lounge ter beschikking met goed zittende zetels. Hier kan je rustig lezen of kennis maken met de andere gasten. In het begin was de kamer een beetje fris maar de verwarming stond aan en moest gewoon een beetje hoger gezet worden. Op de badkamer is een aparte verwarming, de badkamer zelf is vrij groot en goed ingericht. De douche was heerlijk na een toch wel frisse dag. Bij het ontbijt kan je kiezen uit diverse samenstellingen, zelfs een continental wordt voorzien. Goed ontbijt, lekker met diverse verse fruitsoorten. Wij waren heel tevreden. Wij verbleven rees meerdere keren in Ullapool maar dit Guesthouse behoort tot de beteren en zeker gezien zijn prijs.

Excellent guest house, super check in the owners were so helpful, the room was lovely, clean and beautiful bathroom, and the breakfast was delicious easy to park and slightly away but within walking distance of the town. Would definitely recommend.
