貢達宮飯店(Gogunda Palace)

Très décevant, nous ne recom***dons pas ce pseudo palace qui n'en a que le nom. Accès très compliqué pour un minibus dans les rues étroites du village. Le responsable a refusé de nous envoyer quelqu'un pour montrer le chemin au chauffeur. Dans nos 6 chambres, il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude pour la douche (voir photo échanges de messages avec la réception) ! ***que d'entretien (feuilles partout, boue à la place de pelouses, murs tachés d'humidité, ... voir photos). Dommage car le potentiel est présent. Notre guide acrédité a rayé cet hôtel de sa liste (ce choix était le nôtre, pas le sien), guide réputé qui a plus de 15 ans d'expérience dans les circuits au Rajasthan. Assez parlant !

This is a dream location. Away from the hustle bustle of Udaipur, you should choose this only for leisure. It is an actual palace. Fortunately, we were the only ones checked in that day and we felt we owned the palace. Food was amazing, and you get dishes made only for you, on your de***d. Rooms were amazing, and amazing was the spacious bathroom. The entire property welcomes you as if you are some royal entering there. You’ll be able to get tons of beautiful pictures to keep your Insta alive for days to come. The staff is courteous.

This place is slightly outside of Udaipur but if you want to just go somewhere and relax and enjoy the property for a weekend without having to step outside the resort, this is the place to go! Rooms are luxurious especially the suite rooms. They have a great swimming pool and a bar right next to it. Food is great! my recommendation is to take an all meals package!

We were there to celebrate kid's birthday plus family outing and staff was helpful and attentive enough to plan a surprise mid night cake cutting. Right from reception to chef every staff person is helpful. Property is well maintained. Special highlight: Terrace. It offers amazing sunset view.

Can feel the charm and serenity of the place the moment we stepped in. Had a perfect stay would highly recommend the place. Entire staff was outstanding ( few names I still remember - Bhawar and Arvind ) and all of them went out of their way to make sure the comfort of the guests are well taken care off. Well appointed rooms, outstanding food, great hospitality and picturesque property are a mojor draw. Eventhough the property 45mins away from the city center, its blissful to have a calm and peaceful stay away from all the hustle & bustle. Staff can arrange a city tour on request ***** with some other outdoor activities so do enquire if needed.

I have been visiting Gogunda palace since past 3 years. Excellent boutique place and service. Beautiful swimming pool and ambiance. ***ohar Ji provided exceptional service with warmth. He and his team made our trip memorable at restaurant and bar.

Old time residence soaked in history since 15th century belonging to the then Rajput clan. The restored property now a heritage hotel is well maintained , the rooms are reasonably comfortable laced with amenities and large shower areas. They have quite a few suites which can accommodate 4-6 pax each. The hotel buildings encompass couple of lawns and courtyards in the centre, the staff too is courteous and prompt in their responses. Definately a place to visit for a short vacation. Proximity to Udaipur, Haldi Ghati etc is an added lure.

Our recent stay at Gogunda Palace was truly a memorable one. The palace is steeped in history and has been elegantly converted into a luxurious hotel, retaining ***y original architectural features. The palace offered tranquil surroundings with beautifully ***icured gardens, lush green courtyards, rooftop terraces, colorful marble walkways, and water fountains. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the restaurant offered a wide selection of freshly cooked delicious dishes, and all staff members were attentive and courteous. Your next destination for enjoying Rajasthani hospitality!

Discovered this delightful property while travelling in the outskirts of Udaipur. Learnt that Gogunda was the capital of Mewar during Maharana Pratap’s reign and this palace was built during that era It is a boutique property located within a village. Has beautifully decorated rooms, lush lawns, a swimming pool as well as an ancient temple. It is a heritage property with modern amenities. In fact there is a lift in one block working on ancient technology The staff is very helpful and take good care of the guests
