I stayed at this hotel for a 3-night period between Friday and Monday. The Hotel's location is quite convenient, only a couple of minutes walk away from both the Turin rail station and a metro station and 15 minutes walk away from some of the major sights and locations to be found. Several restaurants and cafes can be found in the neighborhood. I arrived quite late at night and had no issues with checking in at such a late hour. The room was a one-person room with a window overlooking the square, quite comfortable with a small flat-screen TV, a bed, a couple of chairs a clothes cupboard a small table, and an ensuite bathroom which may not be the most comfortable for tall and robust folk. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:00.The continental breakfast was superb both in choice and quality. British-style breakfast is available as well but the food choice pales when compared to the continental breakfast, this doesn't mean however that it's bad by all means. Most of the time spent at the hotel was between bedtime and breakfast. Hotel hygiene was impeccable. Was surprised by toothbrushes and toothpaste being offered to guests. The staff was courteous and helpful with directions for major landmarks. Will be back here should the occasion arise.
Wow! I just have to say WOW - the hotel, the staff, the location & the opportunity to visit the Fiat test track! Firstly, the room - really spacious and well laid out - clean comfortable and a bonus of a walk in shower. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom amenities were plentiful and replenished often. Secondly, the staff Silvio at the front desk greeted us with such warmth and kindness- it was our first time visiting Turin and he could not have been more helpful - advise on wine, cheese and places to see. The breakfast & dinner staff were so welcoming - service was IMPECCABLE!!! The food was plentiful, varied and delicious. Thirdly, the location perfect for us- quick walk to the Metro, bus stop, grocery store, Eataly and the Lingotto shopping mall (with TONS of options for snacks, gelato, coffee or food). We would definitely return to Turin and the DoubleTree Lingotto is the place we’d want to be !!!
Ottimi i materassi e i cuscini. Bellissimo il tavolo in cristallo. Porta blindata, WIFI veloce e gratuito.
訪訪客A modern type hotel which verges on a type of hostel appearance inside [not in a bad way - just lots of bare concrete walls - but don't let this put you off as the apartment rooms and spacious with large comfy beds, and a separate lounge with large TV and sofa [bed], together with a fully equipped kitchen. The check in was seamless and friendly and the person on the desk always had our room key in hand to present to us when we returned from our days out. Very efficient. The bathroom was clean, but we did have a bit of a problem with our shower which didn't seem to fully switch from the rain shower to the hand held attachment, with water basically spurting everywhere [but it did the job]. Breakfast was included, but don't be surprised that the milk for the cereal is kept behind the bar and not on the serving table. The food was varied and buffet style. The hotel is a little way from the centre, and don't be tempted just to walk, as the Metro is only a few minutes walk away and the bus services are efficient and easy to use via Google Maps. We bought a 3 days Metro/Bus pass which cost less than £10. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it for your stay should you be visiting Turin any time soon. - Thank you.
AAvinoamroAbout a month ago we booked a room for three in a hotel on a website. At the time of booking, I made sure the hotel had an air conditioner. When we arrived we tried to turn on the air conditioner but failed. We went to the reception and there we were told that it was the municipality's instructions. A check at nearby hotels revealed that the claim was false. When I demanded to turn on the air conditioner, the receptionist threatened that if I continued arguing she would call the police. The next day I talked to the hotel manager and it turns out that it is not the city's guidelines but the hotel's policy that decides when I am hot and when I am cold. They also immediately updated a section on the website that states that the air conditioning is according to seasons. Including rooms in a poor state of maintenance, old and torn towels, the only reasonable thing is the breakfast.
SSilvia JulianaOverall, the hotel was very good. It is located far from the historic center, but it is easy to get around by public transportation. The room was a bit little and not so clean. The breakfast buffet should change a bit between days, as it gets boring after eating the same thing for several days.
