The hotel was enjoyable and the slot play but the card tables are only for the house they do not shuffle or cut cards before they put them in the shuffling machine so I like to play cards so I went to the ****** next door in the parking lot and played cards because they shuffle and cut the cards as they should and fives better odds for the player so I would suggest to only play slots no table games but the hotel it's self was very good and the restaurants

It was a good stay. We had a good time, but there were a few miscomunications among the staff when we were reserving things and trying to pay. Cash is not always accepted. The spa wouldnt let me pay in cash, when I had called ahead of time to ask, and they said they did. Then we called the front desk for an extra blanket, they forgot about us, and we had to call again. Otherwise, we had a good time.

Heavy security - metal detectors and rfid scanner? Made you worry about security, and a small 3 blade pocket knife is now considered a weapon. No bell hop or cart available. Clean room. Lots and lots of penny slots, did find some quarter and dollar machines.

No personality during check in. Dry staff that was not personal at all. Bed was broken, room was smelly, and water pressure was terrible when I tried taking a shower

Enjoyed the clean crisp room and bed. Bathroom was really great. Public areas were also nice. The all you can eat offerings were generous, varied and tasty.. I even won a little bit of cash !

Having the small refrigerators sitting on the floor made it extremely difficult to put things in and take out.

I visited Gold Strike back in 2015. It was a guys trip. Had a fabulous time and it felt like the hotel and atmosphere was great. So great that I said that I would come back a second time and enjoy it with my wife. Well, finally made it back. I'm not sure if the hotel has changed since I was last there or if I just didn't realize it last time around. But the hotel was extremely smoky. Even though they have signs advising people that there is not smoking in the lobby, people were still doing it without anyone enforcing the rule. One particular night, there was vomit on the floor of one of the elevators that stayed there for hours. We ordered pizza from one of the dining places (I think Sweet Tea) and it was absolutely terrible. The cheese and dough was horrendous. My wife and I ate one slice a piece and threw the rest away. There was a stench in our room. I later learned that the carpet was wet by the fridge as it was leaking water. I learned this near the end of our stay so no sense in complaining. All in all, the hotel wasn't the best. But because we came to watch a show that was being held at the Horseshoe that we enjoyed, as well as enjoying the ****** entertainment, the trip was worth it. So I can understand it if others go and would not recommend against it. But I won't be going back... ever!

My wife had a health problem while in the resort and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and concerned for her welfare. We were very impressed.

Why did I have to pay ******* $106 and Goldstrike $73 for a room advertised for $55? I would have planned something different for $179. Could you give me a refund.
