拉帕洛瑪威斯汀水療度假村(The Westin la Paloma Resort & Spa)

Beautiful hotel and gorgeous pools! It’s a must stay in the Tucson area.

All around just an average stay. Lack of employees in getting luggage to the room…long delay. Not very informative check in staff. Difficulty in making dinner reservations. Phone number that was given to text front desk was out of order as well as both phones in the room.

We wanted a quick escape from New England, somewhere warm where we could swim as much as we wanted & generally be relaxed and enjoy ourselves. The Westin La Paloma delivered in spades! From the warm (and hot) waters of the various pools and hot tubs, to the tasty poolside cocktails from Sabino's Pool Bar & Grill; from the delicious food at Contigo Latin Kitchen and AZul Restaurant & Lounge, to watching the stars spin overhead from our balcony. We had a blast!

This is large resort spread out over many acres. Fortunately our room was in Building B close to the main front facility, otherwise we would have to be shuttled to our room with a golf cart like most of our conference attendees needed to do. Finally, you are captive to the Resort here. No food or shopping within walking distance. This is neither good or bad as long as you are prepared for it in advance. At first, we did not care for this place, but after we got used to it, it became one of our favorite places. Our regular king room had a soaker tub (non jetted) and a separate walk in shower. Also had double sinks in bathroom. Walk out wnd story patio was surprisingly private. This is easily a 4-5 star high end resort. But of course we paid 5 star price too. We would definitely stay here again if attending a multi-day conference, but probably not stay if traveling through on a quick overnight stay.

The beautiful property that I remembered 30 years ago appears to have been neglected in favor of maximizing profits rather than maintaining its original class. The outdoor hallways were unkempt, large dust bunnies, dead roaches. The room was dark, dingy, stuffy, with an awful odor, dead roaches/bugs, furniture was dated. The rug appeared neglected, probably had not been shampooed in some time. Water stains/scum noted on lower third of the glass shower door. The tub was stained gray along the path of constant dripping water. Furniture on the balcony was dirty; I had to clean the crumbs and debris off the table left by past tenants and wiped dark soot from the chairs themselves. We still could not bring ourselves to sit on the outdoor furniture. There was a nice very large flat screen TV, that did not work. I asked the front desk to repair the TV on 3 occasions, it was never fixed. The main lobby rugs appeared old and grimy, in need of deep cleaning. The lack of upkeep was also noted in the bar mezzanine area. A large cigar shaped mound of debris noted at the base of the table on which we sat, (center table along the left wall, as one faces the mountains) is evidence that the rug had not been vacuumed, let alone shampooed. Behind that table, the recesses along the wall showed months of accumulated debris and worn paint. The outdoor grounds were nicely designed and kept. A lot of people in the pools. We did not swim.

The property is beautiful, very peaceful. The service is great, except when we were checking out of the resort today, we requested someone to come up and pick up our luggage from the room and also bring our car. After waiting for 15 minutes, no one showed up. We walked to the reception area and checked out. Then had to wait outside for our car to be brought up. Rather disappointing.

Property was great beautiful views! Staff was very kind and friendly. On another note no one answered room service after calling various times. It was too cold and a ways walk to go and get food. It was unfortunate that we couldnt get room service one of the nights. Other than that beautiful spacious comfy rooms

What a beautiful resort! Rooms are very spacious, clean, quiet and private. Beautiful grounds- well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here for the AZ Bowl game. Close to stadium -used Uber to/from as it’s not within walking distance. Will definitely stay again when WY returns for another bowl game! Go Pokes!!!

All good except we asked for a bellman to come and get our bags on our way out but they were understaffed and never came so we had to drag our bags through the lobby to our ride.
