茨卡爾圖博廣場飯店(Tskaltubo Plaza Hotel)

First of all, I have to say that my travel agent booked us in the wrong hotel. There are two properties with the same name, so don’t make that mistake. The difference in the name is that this hotel is Plaza Resort, while the one I was supposed to stay in is called Legends Spa. As for my review, I was very disappointed overall because it wasn’t what I expected. I was expecting luxury, but that’s not what I saw which isn’t the hotels fault. It’s my agent’s. I have to be fair to the staff at the hotel who are very wonderful, helpful, and welcoming, especially the ladies at the reception. They also upgraded our two rooms, so we could stay on one floor. The hotel is very outdated. All the carpets leading to the rooms are filthy and disgusting. I know they are currently updating, but they are not doing a great job. They are only changing the carpets while the whole room (including the disgusting toilet) needs to be changed. Once you enter the room, you’ll smell the toilet (this is in both rooms that we stayed at). The rooms they gave us are quite spacious, but this doesn’t make up for how nasty they are. The bed is stiff and the mattress needs to be replaced. I couldn’t sleep because of the terrible bed, the dogs barking at night, and the loud sound of cars passing by. Even though our room has a tiny balcony, I suggest you ((don’t stay in a room overlooking the street because of the noise)). Get a room overlooking the courtyard if you “really” want to stay in this hotel. The bathroom is very disappointing. The toilet is disgusting. Toiletries are not good. The bathroom color is very gloomy. The towels are not the cleanest. Get your own towels or ask for clean ones if yours aren’t. Breakfast was just okay. No live egg station. Just some essentials that’ll get you through the day. I would not stay here again even if they renovated it.

When we reached at the hotel, we are a family of 10 people including child. Hotel did not have help us with the luggage. So our first impression was bad at the very first point. Service is the first thing what any traveler experience when he/she reaches at the hotel/resort. which was very poor.

Ich war jetzt für 9 Übernachtungen im Tsalktubo Plaza! Jeweils mit meinen deutschen Reisegruppen. Es war nie gut, aber in diesem Jahr war es die schlechteste Hotelleistung, die ich auf über 3000 Übernachtungen weltweit gemacht habe! Das Personal ist unfreundlich, dreist, und offensichtlich nicht ausgebildet und zu keiner Zeit in der Lage ein Hotel zu betreiben! Der Fisch stinkt allerdings vom Kopf, doch dazu später mehr! Als wir mit unserer kleinen Gruppe am Hotel ankamen war es dem Hotelpagen nicht möglich, den Damen mit dem Gepäck zu helfen, wie auch, er hatte die Hände über Stunden in den Hosentaschen und lungerte in der Lobby rum! Für den Check Inn Prozess wurden unsere Unterschriften benötigt. Das Personal an der Rezeption schnauzte unsere Guide an, weil sie das nicht sofort erledigte! Weil wir mit unserer Guide zusammen Abendessen wollten, da wir nach dem Essen noch etwas gemeinsam unternehmen wollten bat ich die Rezeption, ob unsere Guide nicht ausnahmsweise mit uns ans buffet könne. Dafür wollte die Dame mit dem Hotelmanager telefonieren. Da dieser nicht erreichbar war rief sie unsere georgische Partneragentur an und erzählte, dass die Guide darauf bestehen würde im Hotel zu essen - was für ein Unsinn! Beim Abendessen standen 5 Angestellte im überschaubaren Speisesaal und glänzten mit Untätigkeit! Eine Bestellung der Getränke ging dann irgendwie, aber eine Rechnung zu bekommen, um das Essen zu beenden gestaltete sich schwierig! Beim auschecken erkundigte sich niemand, ob der Aufenthalt gefallen hatte! Wir fuhren dann für 3 Nächte weiter nach Svanetien, nur um für eine weitere Nacht ins Tsalktubo Plaza zurück zu kommen! Beim einchecken erklärte ich, dass ich sehr gern beim auschecken den Hotelmanager sprechen wolle, denn ich sei unzufrieden! Mir wurde signalisiert, dass der Hotelmanager des Tsalktubo Plaza Hotel, erst am Folgetag um 10:00 Uhr kommen würde! Wir wollten allerdings um 9:00 Uhr unsrer Programm fortsetzen! Ich erklärte, dass ich bereits 9 mal mit Gruppen im Hotel war und mit insgesamt 50‘Personen, und dass ich wirklich Redebedarf hätte! Die junge Dame sagte mir, sie würde den Manager anfragen! Abends in der Lobby und im Speisesaal das selbe Bild an Unfähigkeit wie zuvor! Ich erspare euch die Details! Heute war ich extra um 8:30 Uhr an der Rezeption und fragte, ob der Manager da sei! Die selbe junge Dame erklärte mir, dass ja Samstag sei und der Manager erst später kommen würde! Ausschlafen ist ist ihm also wichtiger als seine Gäste! Ein Schelm wer Böses dabei denkt! Ich empfehle jedem, der in Tsalktubo ein Hotel sucht, NICHT im Tsalktubo Plaza Hotel zu übernachten, sondern eines der anderen tollen Hotels zu wählen!

The room is small, but well equipped. It would be better to clean the room better. Lobby, pool, restaurant was clean , but cleanliness of the room must emprove , the doors, toilet, bathroom really need to tidy. Also they must consider not to switch on music after 12 a.m. We really need to rest. Restaurant dishes was really delicious. Staff was friendly. Hotel had good amenities( fitness, clean pool, bikes, discount on spa procedures...) . The price of the hotel was not cheap comparing to other hotels in this area and for this price I think they don't offer appropriate service. Next time I will definitely visit another hotel in Tskaltubo.

We stayed here briefly for 1 night in transit to our next stop on our tour of Georgia. I found this to be a perfect hotel experience for the price and conditions. This is an impressively large and sprawling hotel with a vast size property including a giant pool and stadium. The room itself was perfectly sized with excellent wifi and acceptable bathroom facility. Overall, I can't say anything critical about this place. And would have no issue staying here longer if required.

Das Zimmer nicht sauber, Teppich fleckig, schmutzige Bettwäsche, das Abendessen war durch das viel zu lange warmhalten auf dem Buffet tot, das Personal ist nicht motiviert und unaufmerksam. Ich kann niemandem raten, dieses Hotel zu buchen, da ist 1 Stern schon zu viel.

занимали 2 номера. люкс и комфорт. номера просторные, дизайн комнат не очень удобный. когда поменяли комнаты на вид на бассейн стало намного тише,плюс свежий воздух. кухня очень вкусная и обильная, но однообразная.меняли ,и повар нам очень помогала в этом. по утрам брали велосипеды. бассейн чистый и приятный, но сауна далеко от бассейна

Hotel is located in a decent building with redecorated spacious rooms and bathrooms, however no single shelf or cupboard was provided in a bathroom to store hygienic products. Breakfast was very simple with generic coffee and typical Georgian with food not looking great. Not bad, not good.
