This was our first time at Sandals Grenada and what an experience it was! We cannot express how delightful all the staff were from the time we arrived on the resort, to our goodbye send off and everywhere in between. We had the pleasure of working with Rohan, Jennifer and Kensly during check-in and checkout. They certainly made this a quick and easy process for us. Bringing us and all of our bags to our room after a long trip was a great start to our vacation. All of our initial questions were answered promptly and with a smile! As a group, we took full advantage of the daily entertainment offered ON the resort. Most of our days were spent at the South Seas Village Swim-up Pool Bar enjoying the live DJ, trivia, pool volleyball and obviously the swim-up bar itself. Huge shout out to the activities staff for making all the events something we looked forward to doing daily. Kimony and Dilonna hopped in the pool with us the first day for pool volleyball and really set the tone of how friendly and interactive the staff is with the guests! Grantly kicked off most of our mornings with Aqua Fitness, even letting a couple of us join him in leading the class! Alex, Jazz and Issac kept us engaged, smiling and laughing during trivia everyday as well. The bartenders were awesome! Their energy and vibes were contagious and a pleasure to be around day in and day out. They worked very well together making sure every guest was taken care of in a timely manner, no matter what they were up against. Some of our favorites from the pool bar were Terrel, Kavita, Krishawn, Mario, Zion, Javon aka Soca Jeff and Sherene. We were very pleased with the variety of food options on the resort. We went to the breakfast buffet most mornings but also took advantage of a more formal sit-down breakfast offered by Le Jardinier. We enjoyed Dino's pizza and empanada pockets everyday by the pool due to the great location. The pizza was flavorful and never took longer than 10-15min after ordering. Nothing beats a quick and easy lunch when you have activities to attend! Dinners at Butch's Steakhouse, Cucina Romana, Kimonos and Le Jardinier were filled with fantastic service and incredible dishes. There was an option offered for everyone, no matter your food restrictions or preferences. From the silent discos to karaoke to the Blast Wizards performance, there was something to attend and enjoy every night at the Living Room Piano Bar & Lounge. Another great atmosphere that catered to people of all varieties. Anthony and Stephenson were great behind the bar The Tipsy Turtle was a staple for us on this vacation! Whether the food was to have or to go, we quickly made it through every item on the menu. Many orders of wings, burgers and the fish and chips were had! We quickly became friends with Dee Dee, Stephenson and Dereka the first night. We listened to and learned all about Soca music, shared countless amounts of stories and endless amounts of laughter with them nightly. They treated

We recently returned from a wonderful trip to Grenada, staying at Royalton. It is fair to say that I had read many mixed reviews before I went, but I’m a true believer that everyone has different expectations of their holiday and what is important to them. Some of the concerns that had been flagged by others I decided that I would be aware of but go and see for myself. I’m so pleased that I did. The Grenadian people are very welcoming and friendly. They are justifiably proud of their country and want you to experience and enjoy it as much as they do. Our experience was that this also applied to every Royalton member of staff that we came into contact with. We smiled and said hello to everyone and they reciprocated, often stopping for a chat. We did upgrade to Diamond Club and our butlers were Milano and Yolanda. They were fantastic and helped us out on a number of occasions with requests. It is fair to say that we probably used their services to plug gaps in the overall management of the hotel which shouldn’t have been necessary. For instance the Chill Out bar regularly ran out of drinks (alcoholic and sodas) which were available elsewhere in the hotel. Unfortunately there was no slick process to move stock around so we got in touch with our butler to bring the drinks for us. Clearly this was improper use of the service but the hotel does need to improve their food and beverage approach to better meet the needs of their customers. We had breakfast at Grazie, courtesy of having upgraded to Diamond Club and we had amazing service from Devon, Victor, Chelsea M, Kimberly and Davidson. Nothing was too much trouble and they made time to chat to us every morning. We participated in the morning Aqua Fit classes most days and must give a shout out to Kelson, Christal and Jeremy who gave us a great workout. They always made a point of engaging with everyone around the pool to find out whether we were enjoying our holidays and spend some time promoting the other activities available such as Yoga and the morning walks. The Vibe Team provided endless fun and entertainment throughout our stay with quizzes and competitions. There were activities by the pool and also by the sports bar in an evening. Our heartfelt thanks for making our holiday very special and entertaining go to Malcom, George, Danielle, Kaiana, Kaunda and DJ Kaotic. An amazing team. Of the speciality restaurants we really enjoyed both Grazie and Taj. Thanks go to Rochel at Grazie and Kashima at Taj for looking after us so well during our visits. We did spend some time in the Diamond Club lounge area on occasion and would like to say thank you to Al Brad and Camella for looking after us and making us laugh so much. Overall we had an amazing holiday – if I could make one improvement it would be the availability of drinks. If I can have a particular drink at one bar, it should be available at all bars.
