The man at the front desk was very rude, making it hard to imagine he worked in the hospitality industry. Even worse, there were cockroaches in the room - shocking! The soundproofing was also poor, with people outside the room making loud noises and smoking in the courtyard late at night. Overall, it was a truly terrible stay. I generally don't give negative reviews, but this experience was unbearable. I'm sharing this review in the hope that others will avoid this pitfall.

Very friendly and obliging staff. Motel is currently undergoing a paint job. Bed was comfortable. Very convenient to town and The Strand.

Good location

Saw a sock/underwear in the drawer where the utensils are kept. No wifi in the room as advertised, had to go outside the room to get access. Ceiling fan is very dusty.

Every morning there were people drunk, yelling and trying to fight people from 4am. Staff were atrocious, except for 1 house cleaning lad. Do not go. Wifi doesn't work and got told, "YOU SHOULD HAVE DATA ON YOUR PHONE". How terrible.

On check in the staff were very accommodating with a special request for our stay. They were willing to put themselves out to make my request possible. Thankyou. The motel was clean, comfortable,quiet,well located and it was great to be able to access a laundry . If we are ever back in town we will stay again.

A great view in a beautiful location. The staff, Diane and Ash went well beyond our expectations and were extremely helpful. The facilities were excellent. Thanks, Diane and Ash for making our holiday outstanding.

We were more than happy with the room we were given. The reception saw that we were older and noted we had been booked into a room upstairs. We were offered a room on the ground floor and given assistance in ensuring that the parking at front of our room was always available. Many thanks for a great and quite stay while we were in Townsville to see a specialist.

Na ja, für 1 Nacht ok Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ok. Wir hatten Ameisen im ganzen Zimmer, auch auf dem Bett. Es ist extrem ringhörig.
