The service at the front desk is very friendly and comfortable

Staff was extremely friendly. A bug (roach or centipede?) was on our door frame when we arrived. Other than that, the room was fairly clean. It might need some TLC (e.g. loose shower head might need to be screwed back to the wall). We slept well, despite the unusual noise of the fridge. Very limited breakfast options (cereals, yogurt, toast, juice), but enough to get your day started. Would love it if they could also offer hot chocolate. We only stayed one night and it did the job. Again, staff was extremely friendly.

AC had a bad thermostat. AC would click in, room would cool and then get too hot again before it clicked in again. Odors in room ranged from neutral to what you smell in a bakery to something like a noxious chemical. Opening the window was not an option because of the sounds from the busy highway.

I thought the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the TV worked well. However, the A/C and fan were unusable because it smelled like mold. When we slept with the window open, but street noise made it uncomfortable. The bathroom sink drain had no cover. I lost a bottle top down the drain. Finally, the coffee at breakfast was very weak and the bagels were stale. People were having difficulty operating the microwave. Written directions would be helpful. It’s the little things that can make or break a business. More attention to these things would improve the description from “cheap” to a “good value “.

Staff was great, room was clean. My only caution is it is not easily accessible to people with disabilities. Other than the main entrance/lobby, there are 3 steps down to the first floor and no elevator to the 2nd floor. The hotel is older but I was happy with my week stay.

I was so shocked that there was no elevator to other floors! How is this legal as ALL hotels/motels should be held to ADA compliance. I was too tired to cancel and managed to drag my suitcase to second floor without any assistance from staff. Room was warm and smell of smoke was lingering. Disappointing.
