Lovely stay as always. Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are clean bed comfortable. If you have difficulty in walking be warned the hill up to the hotel is a bit steep. But we keep going back . And bonus the Giffin pub is underneath for a reasonable price beer.

The man on reception was unbelievably aggressive when I struggled to park my long campervan. He was so aggressive THAT HE WANTED TO FIGHT WITH ME!!! I was so taken aback. He told me to f— off and so we left without staying there! He did refund me but I can quite definitely say this is the worst ever Hotel experience of my life!!!

Stayed at this hotel for a week in June. We were in a deluxe room, Clean and comfy. Location 5 mins from Harbour but may take longer to get back as its on a hill. Full English Breakfast was amazing even the scrambled eggs was big. Bed was comfy and towels so soft, Shame we couldn't get to the pool as it was blocked off, did ring the bell at the desk 3 times to ask about pool but nobody answered and nobody on the desk all day.

I read the information in the room saying if you mark the towels with fake tan or shoe polish or anything else you will have to pay. So that night I pulled the curtains only to find BLOOD on them see pictures. I went and told the man on the desk in the morning about 8am and said I was not going to pay for the cleaning of the curtains. He said he would let house keeping know . I went out and came back about 1 pm . I thought they would have sorted by now . I happened to see house keeping amd ask if they had removed the blood they didn't know anything about it . So I had to wait in lobby until they had cleared them . I thought they replaced the curtains with clean ones . But no same ones and one of marks still there

Lovely stay, room was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and so much choice. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for your service. Not far from the harbour and shops. Lovely walks, plenty of hills. Will definitely stay here again

Very warm welcome with free parking and easy walk to the harbour. The guest house is a little dated and could do with updating. However the place is spotlessly clean and has a personality all of its own. The beds are comfy, ample tea and coffee in the rooms. Great breakfast served with smiles and hot. Only downside was the pillows, they need upgrading
