We checked into room 403 around 10 PM, weary from our journey, only to be met with an unpleasant odor, stained carpeting, and a shower that was not only unclean but had concerning spots that resembled blood. I promptly approached the front desk, but the representative appeared unprepared to address our concerns. The explanation offered was the unavailability of cleaning staff at that hour and the absence of the manager. Their only suggestion was to address the issue the next morning. Opting for our comfort and safety, I decided to book another hotel in the very lobby of this one and ensured that our early check-out was noted. When I later reached out to the manager, Dana, I was directed to *******, our booking platform, only for the hotel to decline a refund request. A disheartening loss of $175. I strongly recommend considering the Marriott next door — a stark contrast in service and quality.
