I liked all the facilities the property had to offer, including the luxury of having room service or a choice to eat in their restaurant or cafe. The heating could have worked more effectively as the room was still a little colder, even with the heater on the highest setting.

Found heating unit in room poor performance and lighting poor in bedroom part especially if you need to read. Bathrrom and kitchen area well lit and modern Only an additional blanklet.with 0oC overnight, electric blanklet would have been good The country club Bristo was excellent

Somewhat disconcerting that this "resort motel" facility has had a negative off-site refocus of management and guest liaison, with the reception staff being remotely absorbed into the greater Clubhouse complex for job sharing employment. Unfortunately, none of the room info booklets have been changed to reflect this and so it is rather confusing, even for simple things as to where keys should be left (for instance).

There were no bins in the bathroom and no extra bin bags. No microwave. Under the beds were not cleaned... found wrapping paper, food container and an envelope! My entry card didn't work at 9am on day of departure and checkout was at 10am. Beds were comfortable 😌. Tea and coffee facilities were good.

We stayed with 3 kids. We could walk to the club House for meals, which are excellent and very affordable. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. It’s quiet and easy parking.

Good remote location, but somewhat deficient in ongoing sense of security and management with no on-site staff. The front access door of my room was of very uncertain locking action. The swipe card worked fine, but the actual door lock snib mechanism was unreliable, without much force to stay closed or to then open.

Great place, great food, great golf course but both nights there were drunk old men up to all hours of the night in surrounding rooms, the second night i had to get up after midnight and abuse three different rooms because they were drunk and so loud, the first night someone else beat me to it at about 1am. Ruined what would have been a great stay. Also had no conditioner and body wash in the dispensers provided, well thats what my wife said anyway. Would recommend but check if there is a golf comp or something on, otherwise it will be no sleep from old drunken golfers.

We found the lighting to be very dim. Although a set of crockery and cutlery was supplied, there was only a toaster, no microwave. My friend slept in the big bed and it was made the next day but the single bed i slept in was not.

The resort itself is great, the staff have always been attentive, the motel room is large and comfortable and the fact that it's attached to the Country Club itself should be the icing on the cake. Problem is the food in the club is very ordinary. No less expensive than the Commercial Club in town just of a lower standard.
