From the moment I walked out of my cab and into the lobby of this hotel I knew that I had made a mistake in booking this room. But unfortunately having booked it through “Trip.com” I knew I was screwed and no one would be responsible to hear my concerns. One thing I needed to understand was that a “Prepaid” hotel is done, hotel will get their money regardless of what concerns one might have about the conditions of their facility. To sum it up, this hotel is extremely old and dirty, you can smell the stink of decomposing carpets from the outside. This hotel has a major plumbing issue, so be very careful; he showers and toilets get flooded and the sewerage bubbles up creeps out of the toilets. The staff is one after next numb to the hotel guest complaints and they don’t care about anyone’s concern. This hotel needs to be shut down and I don’t understand why it’s still in operation. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Ottimo hotel nella zona del porto di Tel Aviv. Il quartiere é ben fornito ed é molto pulito. Per raggiungere il centro città basta noleggiare un monopattino elettrico o anche prendere i mezzi. Il design dell’hotel è molto particolare. La chicca assoluta di questo hotel é la colazione: c é di tutto (anche colazione all’italiana) e si mangia divinamente. Il personale é accogliente e le camere sono pulite e spaziose. L hotel é davvero grande, c’é anche una spa e la palestra ma nn ci sono stat per mancAnza di tempo. Dalla terrazza si gode di una vista panoramica sul mare. Dentro la stanza c è la macchinetta del caffè nespresso ed il bollittore. C’é la televisione ed un grande speaker per ascoltare la musica. Le stanze sono luminose, molto meno i bagni. Il letto é alla francese.

So many mixed feeling about this hotel. We found it was in a great location and the rooftop was nice but the rest was frustrating. Upon arrival, the check in desk seemed distracted. The member of staff checking us in didn’t seem bothered that we arrived and after we paid just gave us our cards - no mention of where we go or anything about what we can do in the hotel. The room was ok but the room keys didn’t work 50% of the time. We had to try many different techniques. We reported this to reception and the new cards has the same issues (we kept the cards away from mobile phones so that wasn’t the issue - perhaps the door?!). The staff weren’t bothered so we continued to spend some time outside trying to get in. The next day we had our room cleaned and we didn’t get the right towels so we reported this to reception (via room phone). After an hour of waiting, we went to the reception desk and they said it would be sorted so we went out for a walk. When we returned, still no towels (3 hours after we asked for them!) so we went back to reception and we’re told they’d be with us. They arrived about 15 mins later. Shocking service. Upon departure, they took our room cards and no questions about our stay. Then in the taxi on the way home, I get a text asking me how my stay was. Wouldn’t it make more sense to ask at departure?! I think 2/5 based on the staff is a fair review. I would have given it 1/5 but some of the staff seemed nice… I’d say the cleaning room staff seemed lovely and always said hello to us so they made us feel welcomed. We also chatted to the lifeguard and he made some nice local recommendations. The security man at the rooftop (from Ukraine) was so lovely too.

Very good hotel. Situated next to the sea. We were supposed to have a regular room and got a sea view. Clean rooms. Very good service a specially the men who lets you on the breakfast. Good waiters. Big and nice roof pool with nice life guard. Good drinks. Large selection of tasteful breakfast. We got a wine as a gift. It was time great time spend here.

We paid 200 euro a night for this below average hotel that's literally falling apart. Let me add context, we live in Brussels, Europe's most expensive capital after Amsterdam. For 200 euro in Brussels you can stay at the 4 star Warwick Brussels, the 4 star Harmon House, in Amsterdam you can stay at the 4 star innside by Milea Hotels.... You get the idea. All these included weekend peak prices. So what's so bad..... 1. The hotel is literally falling apart, see the pictures. 2. The staff don't like foreigners, that's very evident because service is NON EXISTENT - from checking in to asking questions... Zero, just attitude (e.g. when we checked in we explained to the boy on front desk, ego spent more time worrying over his appearance than looking after us, that our cases had been lost and we had no clothes or toiletries and where could we find one please "there are lots" was what we got - not helpful) 3. They must have a deal with taxi companies as according to reception going anywhere, (old port, Azreili mall, Hacarmel market) required a taxi, also the only way to buy bus passes is at tourist offices, so we're Belgian, we don't do just paying money out, we walked 15-20 mins to Azreili mall and got the transport ticket. Uber is non existent, which again tells me that it's a price fixing scam. 4. It's just a basic hotel in desperate need of renovation and improvement - the rooftop pool is just bad, a basic fibreglass tub stuck on the roof with badly installed decking around it. 10 nis or 2.70 euro for a coke! 5. If you like your hotel on the beach, yep this has that, but God help you if your room is roadside, as the front of the hotel is under/in the concrete main road! Also midweek parties that go on until 5am are a thing. 6. The walls are toilet paper thin, you can hear every other room, everything sand for a light sleeper this is a problem. 7. LGBTQIA+ - THERE'S A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACCEPTANCE (which they don't) AND TOLERANCE (barely, in-between judgment and sniggering) this hotel and Israel has far to go to match Belgium, Netherlands, even Malta. Not worth the money, but as they make you pay up front you can't leave, you're stuck with it. You've been warned, the rest is up to you.

In my 35 years of extensive travel, I have never experienced such poor service from a hotel as I have with the Gordon Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv. Without going into great detail (as so many things were sub-standard and went wrong, it would be almost impossible to relate all the bad experiences), the hotel failed to make up our room for almost 2 days-to the extent that we opted to move out until it was addressed. Despite us approaching the manageress (Dorit)in this regard, she failed to take our word that his was the case. The hotel's room cleaner lied & claimed that the room was made. We requested they refer to the hotel's cameras to prove we were not lying-once the manageress had done so, we were moved to another room and promised to be compensated-we never were & she did her best to avoid returning our calls and attempts to get her to make good on this major inconvenience! Attempts to get hold of the hotel's PR manageress also proved futile on multiple occassions-refusing to call us back? In addition, the new rooms automated key system did not work. We had to walk back downstairs several times to get the hotel's security to open the door (as no-one answers the hotels phones, whether calling from internally or externally-recurring theme?). Again, re the door issues, we have "proof" of this on video & again, the hotel could care-less.. Attempts to get extra towels were simply ignored on numerous occasions & the hotel room cleanliness is sub-par to say there least. After having posted terrible reviews on ***********, someone made contact with us from the hotel & said they would revert-they never did? I again, contacted them back several times-again ignored.. I managed to get hold of the hotel manageress's e mail address, and again, despite e-mailing her numerous times in an attempt to be re-imbursed for having to move out to another hotel, all emails have & continue be ignored. Attempts to get hold of the hotel chain's (Fatlal Hotels) PR side havre also proved futile.. It is hard to believe that one could experience the above and then some in a recently renovated upscale hotel. I highly recommend the hotel be avoided as they simply could not give a damn about their guests!

L'hotel 4 Stelle, come gli altri sulla stessa schiera, sorge sulla bellissima spiaggia di Tel Aviv... Purtroppo non offre gli standard di categoria ben al di sotto di quello italiano. La posizione è molto bella e ricca di servizi e locali. Camere vecchie ed obsolete, pulizia scarsa (ma ritengo che questo faccia parte del costume generale dei luoghi) e scarsa attenzione alle esigenze degli ospiti. Buona e ricca la colazione come il buffet del ristorante s cena. Pezzo sproporzionato ma forse dettato dallo costo medio della vita in Israele il che giustifica il fatto che la quasi totalità della clientela fosse israeliana. Non ci tornerei ma ho visto che i competitors non offrono niente di meglio, ragion per cui se si sceglie quella zona bisogna accontentarsi.

Pésimo ! Todo malo ! Lo único bueno es la localización de hotel !! De mis peores experiencias! Tapete en los pasillos poca luz en los baños no hay donde colgar una toalla !!!! Calificación 0 !!!! No dijeron q era un hotel nuevo !! De siglo pasado ! Sucio con mal olor !! La review deberían ser más sinceros

Hotel velho mal cuidado, sujo, muito sujo. Fiquei inconformada. Paguei caro e o hotel está caindo aos pedaços literalmente por fora e por dentro. Limpeza dos quartos, sala de refeições nota zero. Pessoal da recepção atenciosos. Café da manhã bom.

Booked best room available at hotel, room not ready and too few staff to assist 3hrs post usual check in time. Inconvenience is massive. I'd have to pay additional for each late checkout hour but not even apologies given. Hopelessly understaffed and unpolished

Aucun service. Une négligence totale Aucune considération pour les clients Pas de portier, pas de bagagiste, tout le personnel est mal élevé À éviter Je ne comprends même pas. Comment est-il possible d’avoir pu séjourner dans cet hôtel ? Un cauchemar
