卡爾卡達旅館(Calcada Guesthouse)

Accueil chaleureux et convivial. Que ce soit les espaces communs ou la chambre, c'est nickel et très confortable. Délicieux petits déjeuners complets sur la terrasse et fats maison.Ideal pour visiter Tavira. On est proche de tout, tout en étant au calme.

Local agradável, limpo, bem localizado e o proprietário e sua jusante são ótimos, sempre muito prestativos.

Expérience réussie dans cette maison de charme typique de Tavira. Andy vous y accueille comme si vous arriviez chez des amis. Les chambres sont assez petites mais confortables et très bien équipées. Le petit dej 5 étoiles, servi avec beaucoup d’attention sur le toit terrasse vaut aussi le détour !

Excellent place to stay - all the staff were really helpful

This place is overrated. Although we booked on line based on reviews, we found the place not up ti the mark at all. Hard to access, there was no one to answer the door when we arrived. The rooms smelled and bathroom was outdated. No parking place. We cancelled our reservation and went to another better hotel nearby at about the same rate. They still charged us the full amount ($226+) for 2 nights which we did not use. I booked through ******* and they could not get any response out of them either, I will warn others like *********** and trip adviser etc. so that they are aware of their business policy.

A simply lovely atmosphere pervades this guesthouse — restful and serene. The staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is traditional — white walls, wooden floors, plants and kilims. Interesting old town area. Roof terrace is comfortable and has shade. Good breakfast. Very comfy bed. All in all, excellent.

THE STAFF AT THE CALCADA GUESTHOUSE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP THEIR GUESTS, NOTHING BUT SMILES AND FRIENDLINESS. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT, TOWN CENTRE LESS THAN 5 MINUTES WALK AWAY. THE BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE AND THE ROOMS VERY CLEAN BUT THE OUTSTANDING FEATURE WAS DEFINATELY THE ROOF TERRACE WHERE BREAKFAST WAS SERVED AND IT WAS AVAILABLE ALL DAY TO GUESTS IF THEY CHOSE TO SIT UP THERE AND HAVE A DRINK (REFRIGERATOR AVAILABLE TO KEEP DRINKS COOL) WITH VIEWS ALL OVER TRAVIRA, A PERFECT SPOT AT SUNSET. ALL IN ALL A PERFECT STAY AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS.

This is a gem of a guesthouse. Everything from its location in the (very central) old part of town to its charming contemporary interior hidden inside a traditional exterior. The owners are very helpful and friendly and put the cream on whole experience.

This was an absolutely haven of a guest house in Tavira. It was beautifully clean and comfortable, very quiet. It had a nice central lobby area where you could grab tea, coffee, water. On the top level, it had a terrace area where you took breakfast, and during the day could sit, grab some shade, use the sun loungers and just take a rest. The bedroom on the lower ground floor was a good size and very clean. Plus it had air conditioning, a must have! It had a window and door that opened out onto the dead end of the road, so again was quiet. We had breakfast on on our first morning: vegetarian and vegan, the latter comprising homemade toast, jam, nuts, apricots, fresh orange juice. The guest house and room was a lovely place to come back to for a rest, or to escape the heat of the sun. Highly recommend
