坦敦城鎮之家(Taunton Town House)

Been staying here every 3 months for the last 5 years when it’s been available but if not stayed at the corner house, preferred here as parking is easier for a larger vehicle. Today was a bad experience as was told I would have to pay an extra £3.50 because I wanted a V.A.T receipt and was booked on a business card and also £15 for breakfast which in the past is probably worth £5 as very dry no beans . Still waiting for a receipt 3 hours after checking in. Corner house see you in 3 months

Good location with free parking very close to centre of town. However reception, breakfast and housekeeping service is erratic and variable. One day our room was not serviced at all. There is often no member of staff to be found at reception or anywhere else. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order but choices are limited and the wait is long as one person has to cook all the breakfasts whilst manning the reception too. The hotel let's itself down by not having enough staff some of whom do not have a good enough command of the English language. This is not a budget priced hotel so standards should be higher.

Nice hotel right in the town centre, quick stay over as we were heading down to Cornwall. Paid extra for a lovely made to order cooked breakfast. Large clean spacious room, hotel was spotless. Will be back if in the area again.

Lovely hotel with a clean and spacious room, we had a twin room, it was large and provided us with everything we needed. car parking was included which was a added bonus for us. Would recommend this hotel and enjoyed our stay.

Short one night stay for work, attentive staff with a quick check in. Wi-Fi very good connection everywhere for work. Spacious superior room with great separate are with desk to work. Excellent location to the town centre also.

First trip to the area and we found this hotel due to the excellent location to the town centre and where we were visiting. Modern interior clean and large superior room, staff were friendly and helpful with providing directions.

Great location to the town, clean and comfortable, nice trendy little bar, paid extra for breakfast and all freshly cooked. parking was included. Will be back on next visit to Taunton if we are in the area.

I have all ways enjoyed staying there , The early end to check in , is a problem. The reception agreed to leave a key in a discrete location. They have started chargeing for breakfast, which came as a surprise, so i got a meal deal from Tesco's instead. I all ways ask for a printd receipt on leaving to make sure all room charges have been cleared .

It was cold , the heating was switched on in the morning only after a phone call after 7 am--temperature overnight was 5 degrees! No hot water to shower---barely luke warm. No receptionist on site until 8 am. Called emergency no to request switching on heating which was done. However, subsequent calls to report lack of hot water went unanswered. Reported lack of hot water to receptionist but he did not seem to be interested in resolving the issue---by then it was time for me to leave.
