Arrived to a nice welcome. The rest was a disaster. No Wi-Fi no phone signal, if you needed to make a call you had to go to car park. The food at the pub attached to the hotel (Beefeater) disgusting breakfast consisted of Half cooked sausages and if you asked the so called chef for anything to be replenished the answer was “about 15/20 minutes” would I stay there again? Not even if it was free..

I think I have already done a review but they must have taken it down for its truthfulness. It is an average PI nothing special. it was rather unfortunate to have been there on an unusually warm day. The room was boiling and the gentleman on duty could do with some communication skills courses (if PI provide them). The other chap who came on as probably the night shift manager was very kind, looked interested in rectifying the problem which stemmed with the air con fixed at 20 degree C, it was to our (his as well) that it was connected to the heater, turn the heater off and all stops, tuen the heater on and AIR CON comes on but fixed at 20. Solution, fan which apart from making noise did nothing. Open the windows but cannot thanks to the ehalth and safety rules. So the night was spent not rest or sound sleep etc. Location is fine, close to motorway, Taunton's only probably retail park near by with a dated cinema (ODEON) and Sainbusrys etc. All in all for the price I am sure I could have found a better Air BNB.

A nice hotel - we normally use the other PI in Taunton, but I grew up before this one was built when it was the White Lodge B & B - that's now the Beefeater next door so remember to book a meal deal if dining. Nice hotel, man on reception was very good as were the staff at the Beefeater. Bridgwater Road is still a busy road so if you want piece ask for a room away from this main road. WIFI was not brilliant but I didn't need it. Will use hotel again when I come back to taunt on. Plenty of car parking paces

No WiFi at all. Booked the hotel to get away for a night and stream shows. Wasn’t able to, had to spend £4.99 and 2 hours out in the cold to get public WiFi to download my shows before I could go back to the hotel to watch them.

Used to love Premier Inn but 4 stays recently have totally changed my mind. No WiFi at any of the recent stays, breakfast offering was appalling at Taunton East and everything seems very tired. Would not stay again unless desperate. Such a shame as used to be our chain of choice.

Worn through carpet around beds feet chipped paint on the skirting. Toiletries felt as if they had been watered down. Unable to get the shower head lower due to a clip around the hose so just wishing to wash your hair only totally impossible.

Due to unforseen circumstances, my husband was very poorly during our stay . We had to stay on for an extra 3 nights . The staff did everything possible to keep us in the same room and keep us comfortable. Even shopping if needed. I am so impressed and grateful that I would like to personally thank the manageress Claire ,Sam , Tracey, Sarah,Amber ,Emma ,Jerin and Jo. What could of been a complete disaster for me was a lot less of a stressful situation. So well done Premier Inn for excellent customer service and going to great lengths to help us during our stay. Highly recommend, lovely clean room .Nice pub next door and a great location. Will be visiting again very soon. Lorraine Holness

On our Arrival we were greeted with a very helpful friendly young man called Sam . He was a very kind and funny . Hopeful we get to see him again next year . I was very Happy to see him again in the morning and he wished well . We will definitely stay again hopefully Sam still be there x

A lovely stay a very warm friendly welcome from reception a lovely guy called sam couldn't do enough for you nothing was too much trouble having stayed there several times before this was the best was there when we left next day too and still very friendly a great guy

I stay in Premier Inns as they seem to be local to required location and generally know what to expect. Unfortunately, Taunton East is one that is in need of room referb and a good hoover of corridors. Wouldn't stay in this one again as it is. As there are other hotels in the area that think will be better for similar money.

Chose this Premier Inn as it was close to the M5 (for work) but also close enough to the town centre to be able to walk into. Parking was good and check in simple as always. Got to the room ready to join a work Zoom call but couldn’t connect to the Free Wi-Fi. Spoke to the staff at the front desk as was told it hadn’t been working since January! Asked if I could upgrade to the Ultimate Wi-Fi but apparently that didn’t work either. The staff are obviously so fed up with having to explain this to guests their level of empathy was somewhat lacking.

Clean, modern plesent overnight stay. Lovely walk-in shower and comfortable bed. Room wasn't stiflingly hot, which is good but there were clear instructions on how to adjust the temperature. It was quiet and I had a good night's sleep. There was access to extra tea/coffee in addition to the ones provided in the room.

Stayed for 2 nights staff were amazing. They were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was clean and all the cleaners spoke both mornings. The reception lady help me out to the taxi with my bags when I left. The restaurant was ok but I only had breakfast there.
