塔雷城哈德遜飯店(Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson)

Staff was very helpful, shared a sweatshirt and a corkscrew for our stay. Location is a bit isolated, and the room facilities were not quite as nice as we expected for the price.

The director of the hotel has a temper and a short fuse. I asked questions about securing the room I booked online and that I have stayed in prior and he yelled at me that he cancelled my reservation and hung up on me twice. This would be a lovely place if it weren't for that behavior especially to a woman on the receiving end. It's appalling and shocking to have experienced.

Lovely place but definitely shows its age. Easy and quick check-in. Very nice landscaping. Room was lovely, roomy and nicely decorated, but lacking convenient outlets that can be used to charge devices. Tons of empty space and wall space, but no mirror anywhere. Lovely bathrobes, comfy sheets and soft warm comforter. It took about 5 mins of running cold water to get to hot, and than it was hard to adjust the boiling hot to a "normal" temp. The bathroom is very cold and empty, but it was clean and had great smelling travel size essentials. The deck was well appointed, comfy furniture, and great views, but the railing seemed wobbly and too many bees flying around (there must be a nest within the deck). Walls were thin, we could hear neighbors and restaurant guests. We did not get a chance to try the restaurants on site, as it was closed for a private event. Overall a nice stay, lovely setting, but not sure if it was worth the price which is on a higher side.

This was an end of Summer weekend trip for my son (12yo) and I. We enjoy visiting unique, historic destinations. We loved our stay at the property. The grounds and buildings are so beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property, relaxing in the outdoor pool area, listening to the outdoor DJ on the mansion lawn seating area. We ordered take out from Goose Feathers and the food was very good we both enjoyed it. The staff members were all very helpful and even called a cab for us to get downtown Sunday night. We would definitely recommend this hotel/estate destination to our family and friends. We will definitely return in the future. We also found a new interest in racquetball during our stay. We had never played but found it to be very fun and challenging.

Beautiful property! Some rooms are obviously from different eras (and less wheelchair accessible), but still very clean and welcoming. The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous. There was even a lovely, well-lit lawn space to relax at any time of day. It was also extremely close to several places of interest.

If you like the Historical Mansion experience the Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson is a wonderful choice. No old, dark, stuffy drafty or cold places here. The Mansion, the Biddle House, the Carriage House are all beautifully taken care of. The fitness center and both indoor and outdoor pools were great. We did not take advantage of the restaurant, but it has great media reviews. This was a very elegant weekend getaway. Would go back with any hesitation

Nice historic building converted into a hotel and event space. Very near the Hudson river. So neighborhood is beautiful and serene. Drive slow as some of the roads are rather winding and narrow. Great for hiking and biking. It will give you a good workout.

The room I was supposed get got flooded out after a thunderstorm came through and when they accommodated me with another room it was on the first floor of hotel and were I had crutches I had walk to far with crutches very hard to do and the AC wasn’t working in the room as well.The Ac unit would rattle all night

The property and the surrounding areas were so beautiful. Although I live in New York, I really had the sense of getting away. The history as told by the staff and the decor is a big part of its charm. I hope to visit again soon. I can't recommend it enough.
